Hey, sorry for beig gone for like ever, but i just got back from our class trip today. We went to France.
But anyway. Has anyone seen the movies Gen-X Cops or its sequle Gen-Y cops? I saw them back to back today on HBO. I LOVED THEM exept for the crapy dubbing (and bad special effects in the second movie) the two movies were realy bad in a fun and stupid way. Im a sucker for the bad cheze action flick full of hot guys lol.

Gen-X cops
Chan (Eric Tsang), a cop on the fringe of the force, assembles a team of loose--teen age--cannon cadets--the Gen-X Cops--to infiltrate the mobs of Hong Kong, and they find a stolen shipment of explosive rocket fuel. Dressed in skin-tight leather and vinyl, hip to the point of being ridiculous, our heroes named Jack (Nicholas Tse), Alien (Sam Lee), and Match (Stephen Fung) have to fight not only ultraviolent criminals but also hostile factions within the police as they track down a super-cool Japanese gangster with no fear of death. The clichés fly fast and thick, and the plot is at times incomprehensible, but the action is pretty much nonstop. A shootout in a surfboard factory is particularly spectacular but is only one of several rapidly edited, stunt-filled sequences. The dubbing is better than usual (though subtitles would still be preferable), and there's some unfortunate homophobia, but the actors are all good-looking, the rock soundtrack is loud, the colors are bright, and the attitude is intense. Gen-X Cops even features a cameo by Jackie Chan, who's somehow involved with presenting the film. A slick, silly, and very entertaining movie. --Bret Fetzer
Gen-Y Cops-
The teen cops of Hong Kong are back......but with a new stile- literarily-
After years of preparation and co-operation with the F.B.I., a U.S., a scientific agency finally completes the eagerly-awaited RS1 defence robot - the ultimate in futuristic weapons. Shortly after a successful testing, the robot suffers a strange relapse and destroys a large portion of the laboratory - this is soon traced back to the robot's young designer Kurt (Taiwan pop singer, Richard Sun) who is unimpressed by the way he has been cut out of the project's funding. This 'minor' glitch is ignored and the RS1 robot is sent to Hong Kong to take part in an exhibition highlighting high-tech weaponry from around the world. In joint charge of the security of the exhibition is the F.B.I. and the Hong Kong police, foremost among them being Match (Stephen Fung) and Alien (Sam Lee) alongside their new partner Edison (Canadan/Chinese Pop Star Edison Chen). The unsteady relationship between these two forces is soon shattered when Kurt uses his old friend Edison to steal the RS1 robot and frame him for the crime. With the trigger-happy F.B.I. agents Ian ('Haloween' and'Clueless's Paul Rudd) and Ross (Mark Hicks "Termenator 3" and "Rush hour 2")hunting Edison down, the teen cop resolves to clear his name by finding Kurt and bringing him to justice before he can close a highly lucrative deal with an Arab buyer (which is a bunch of white guys dresseds as Bin Laden). The race is on for the trio of Gen-Y Cops to find their foe before the authorities land the blame upon them.

Review-- "It's frickin fashon show if you ask me"
Review--"The robot looks like a Gundam. A cheap 'build me' action figure made by BANDAI....and the graphics suck! Plus all the actors are teen pop idols that the only thing theyre good for is there looks"
Review--" I swear they probably spent more on the hair stylists than acting and writing."
Review--"It was so bad that it was worth watching, the actors are cute and the movie is funny as hell"
Review--" Edison Chen is Canadian....so he has the acent so his street talk in the movie is like 'A bad gheto canadian' boy...its clasic."
Review--"Its funny to watch two pop singers duke it out in a mini van. There martial arts is good though.......Prety boy rumble"
Review--"What hapend to the stunt doubles? Did they start to sing too?"
LOL Gen-x cops is better (mainly because pop singer Nicholas Tse was in the first one and he knew how to act) But the second one is sooooo funny that it covers up the bad english street talk between Canadian actor/singer Edison Chen and American/Taiwanese pop singer Richard Sun. Paul Rudd is as hot as ever and he and Mark Hicks are the only ones who know how to act(Yay Hollywood). The efects suck but its funny as hell and great to watch wen your drunk. I guess I liked it cuz the actors were cute but the movie it self is ehhh.......soso. But watch it anyway its funny and it has a load of cute White and Asian teen-agers fighting. LOTS of eye candy.
