Person (actually a male person) with a genderless avatar. "Betrayal Hurts" needs no explanation, especially if you have ever been betrayed, it's simple, and I have no plans to change it.

Of course, I would be glad to change it to a picture of Miss K wearing an Adopt-A-Bangel tee shirt and waving a "Carpe Spuffy" banner if someone could just get her to pose...

That's pretty simple.
I chose Willow. She's my favorite Buffy the Vampire Slayer character and Alyson Hannigan is my favorite actress.
If, for example, Harrison Ford, who is my favorite actor, was part of the Buffyverse, I probably would've chosen him.
Well, only if his character wasn't a douche 😛
 
Female with a male avatar. I like staring at the hot guy in my avatar 😉
 
Female with a female avatar I just choose it because I adore Summer she is probably one of my favorite people from the verse plus she just looks beautiful in the avatar.

I do tend to use the female avatars but that used to do with my banners. I use some male avatars at times.
 
Female with both genders on my avatar! I love this shot of Buffy and Giles. I thought it was perfect for a discussion board when I saw it.
 
Female with female avatar. I usually have something that's either Buffy/SMG, or a comics one with Buffy in it. I had that last one for a little while. No Buffy in this one, but there is Satsu being badass and lookin' pretty, so. 😛
 
For the moment male with a female av. Well always male but the av changes a lot during my time here.

A lot of the time I try to find an av that fits with my current banner but as at the moment it's obviously not always the case. Sometimes I have one that matches my username but when I don't really know what to use I often end up with av with people/characters or shows that I feel need a bit of love on the board. It can be some that are not usually used, kind of forgotten or characters that aren't well loved at all. Like Kennedy or Dawn. Or Iyari or Michelle since many avatars isn't from the show.
 
I'm a female, and I change my avatar to whatever I feel like, male or female. It doesn't matter to me really. If I feel like a Spike av, I'll change it to Spike. If I want a Kaylee avatar, I'll change it to her! 🙂 I guess it just depends on my mood.
 
Biologically male, psychologically deep in a gender-grey zone. Aside from Willow being just frickin' awesome (and easy on the eyes, too), having a female avatar sure has its share of wishful thinking potential for me, identity wise. Every time I get mistaken for a gal, a little angel gets his wings. 😉

I'm female with a female avatar. I just really love this shot & I think it is one of the cleanest, sharpest avatars available. If I could upload my own I would probably have a Wesley one, but none of the Wesleys available are really what I want unfortunately.

Damn - this thread has totally got me in the mood to go browse for a new avatar now!
 
I'm female with a male avatar, but I change mine often, it just depends on who I feel like having at the time
 
Female with female avatar. My avatar has always been Faith or cangel. I've had this one for a while now and have no plans on changing it 😛 I like sticking with the same avatar.
 
I'm a male. Except my avatar has two genders in it... However, I think Anya is the focused person in it, so I suppose you can call it a female avatar.

I chose it because I love Anya, she's my favourite character and I want to snuggle her and feed her cookies. 🙂
