I did a quick search in the member list for members with the location of Georgia and came up with 15 (I think that function is available to all members but I've been modding for so long now I forget what "normal" members can do 🙂). However, I'm not sure if this total includes members in the former Soviet state of the same name or members who give their location as "My bedroom", "Angel's bedroom", "Cordelia's bedroom" or other such whimsical, non-geographical locations 🙂

Ray Charles, Willie Nelson, or instrumental? Either way, it's a beautiful song written by a legendary Georgian entertainer about the state we all love.
I was going to change my location to "under your bed" but now I realise its not as original as I thought!! lol. and also a bit freaky 🙂 Im not from georgia by the way.

I think it was Ray's version but I couldn't be absolutely sure as we have the volume down low at work and my colleague's phone rang just as the DJ back-announced it...you're right it's a lovely song either way.
 
I grew up equally shared between Gwinnett County (Duluth) GA and Chester VA so technically I can say I am a part time GA Peach hahaha

With as many threads as I and Miss K have diverted into a Spuffy vs Angel debate you think I'd complain about something like that? Steal away, friend! Just give it back when you're through.
 
Okay, so I was born in TN and moved to Marietta when I was like, a month old and lived there for the first 2 years of my life. We then moved back to TN. Then, my Dad went back to work in Atlanta when I was 4 and I would go to work with him for 2 or three weeks at a time and stay with my aunt there. He stopped working in Atlanta when I started school, since I couldn't go with him anymore.

My favorite great aunt in the whole world lives in Stockbridge, and I've spent many, many hours of my life there.

Once on the way back from Florida, the fan belt on my jeep broke somewhere outside of Macon and I spent a good 4 hours at an Autozone there while a very nice man put it on for me.

Sooo, while I'm not from Georgia and don't currently reside there, I feel a strong kinship with the Peach State. If I could pick one state to live in, it would probably be Georgia, it's such a beautiful place.
 
Ooh hey! We could have a state battle for everyone living in the US. We'll see who owns BB. Sadly, I doubt it'll be Michigan.
 
I'm close to Georgia, but that's not what you want. For right now I am in TN, blah, and moving to Tucson, AZ, YAY!
