Eva Longoria is doing this cherity auction where you bid on celebrities to follow you, retweet you, or mention you in a special tweet.

Among the celebs participating you can find some verse names...like Julie Benz, Alyson Hannigan, Eliza Dushku and Nathan Fillion.

Anyone gonna do that?
 
I'd pay millions (well, lots, which on my salary, is like £5 :|) to meet and talk to Nathan; but I don't see the point in having them retweet me/follow me. I mean, they're not really going to care about anything I say, are they?

I'm not sure it's something I would splurge on personally, but it's a neat idea! For folks who frequently tweet celebs, it would be a great way to get their attention. Or if you had a specific question that you've always wanted to ask, I suppose it could be a worthy investment. I just don't use twitter enough to spend the moola 😉

It's a nice idea to help raise cash for Haiti, I hope it catches on 🙂
 
I wouldn't spend money on something like that... I've gotten retweeted AND followed by a celebrity before and it didn't get me more followers or anything, and the high only lasted a couple days. Bluh. LOL

This makes me sad that I don't have hundreds of dollars to bid on her. It would be cool to get some kind of Buffy memorabilia of hers, and not to mention that phone call!!!!

Omg that is so awesome!! Damn the bids being so high. That would be amazing to win but I dont have that kind of money.

I mean I thought spending that much on just a follow/tweet was ridiculous but Aly really sweetened the deal.

She also said Jason Segel and Colbie Smulder will be on the phone too. O_O It's too good to be true. Jewel Staite also said she'll call the winner too and send a topless picture.....of her dog.

I was checking the bid on eBay yesterday and saw that Joss cast's price were all like $1000 or $2000. Even Ashley Tisdale and Sophia Bush were still only $500.

Man, if only I'm rich. *sighs*

apparently Alyson is going to be having lunch with Joss soon and is going to have him sign something Buffy related for the winning bidder....can i talk about how insanely jealous i am?!
 
I get the impression that most celebs are offering more than necessary to the winning bidder. I don't use twitter, but I have Zachary Levi on my facebook (whose tweets go to his facebook) and at the moment he's earning more than almost everyone. He's promising a coffee date to the winner. Believe me, if I had 10,000 to bid, I would totally do it! (hopefully he could introduce me to Adam Baldwin as well😉)
