1. Where did you grow up and what was it like?

I grew up in a small town in Worcestershire. It's nice, although not a lot to do.

2. What do you do for a living?

I am a student nurse but also work in a care home part time.

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards?

Mostly uni work and going to uni/placement. I do like to read. Just getting into the buffy comments. Love to shop, go to the cinema, spend time with my boyfriend and see my friends for drinks and nice meals.

Taken.

5. What is your all time favorite food/movie/book?

Food: Sunday roast: probably beef.
Movie: The Labyrinth and The Notebook
Book: Buffy/Angel but also Tess Gerritsen (sp?) and Kathy Reichs as well as Twilight.

I'm a night owl.

7. Where have you traveled to?
Not a lot of places really. Around the UK, I love Newquay and I go every year. I've also been to France, Cyprus, Majorca, Corfu and Ibiza this year.

1. Where did you grow up and what was it like?

I grew up in Brussels but in wasn't nice in the hot part of the town where I was living. It wasn't safe there. Brr. Really hated it there. Now I've moved and it's much better. I mean, except that I have the kids from Gingerbread as neigbour and also a pack who looks like the pack in The Pack. And that all the old people look like the one in Doublemeat Palace. But yeah, nice place! :heart:

2. What do you do for a living?

I'm a student in communications at the university. Well technically, it's not a university, but I have no idea how to say that in English as, if I translate it word to word, it is "High School". It's a university, but smaller, and instead of having many different classes, it's centered on communication. Those studies are just awesome :heart: Expansive as fudge, taking all my free time, but still.

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards?

As soon as I can see my high school friends or my ex-colleagues from the Pizza Hut, I do. I miss them so much 🙁 I also like photography. A lot. So I take as much pictures as I can. I also love, love, love cooking desserts. Cakes to any chocolate that exists. Cookies. Cupcakes. Brownies. Cheesecakes. I also like to shop, it's a need I need to fulfill quite often. And one of my main occupation is...nerding. Chating, youtubing, tweeting, facebooking...Heck yeah. And I love watching interviews of actors I like on Youtube, it's always fun.

Single. And like Zobo, I'm starting to think I will always be.

5. What is your all time favorite food/movie/book?

Food...I love everything that is very bad for the diet (yeah, my life is a tragedy). But my real favourite are chocolate and strawberries. I could live only off chocolate and strawberries. For real.

Mh, I adapt, it depends.

7. Where have you traveled to?

I've been to London, Paris, Lisboa, Spain, Creta, Greece, and I go every year to Köln, it's my favourite city in the world! :heart: I still want to see so many places tough, like the USA, Stockholm, Sweden, Norway, Canada, Scotland, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, and, oh my god, JAPAN *.*

[This Year's Girl]

This is my favourite thread this month! :heart: It's so fun reading about all of you and getting to know you more!

1. Where did you grow up and what was it like?
I grew up in a small town in Västergötland, Sweden with about 1500 inhabitants. It was nice in some ways, I liked the cows, the fact that you didn't have to bother learning traffic rules 'cause the cars were so few and that it always felt very safe and calm there. It was bad in some ways, especially if you like me had bigger ambitions than marrying your middleschool sweetheart and work at the local radiator factory. I didn't really fit in because of that, but I had great friends and a lot of fun too.

2. What do you do for a living?
I'm studying a 3 and a half year program at the university of Gothenburg that are going to make me licensed to work in all kinds of social work in sweden, like social seceretary, counseling, criminal care, work with children with bad home lifes and so on. I work extra as a cashier at a supermarket, and that's what I'll be working as this summer.

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards?
Hang out with friends, go to bookclub meetings with my feminist bookclub, go out dancing, watch tv, go running, study, sit in a board at the university for LGBTQ students, stalk people on facebook.

4. Are you married, taken, or single?
I'm married.

5. What is your all time favorite food/movie/book?

6. Are you a morning person or a night person?
Neither. I'd say I'm more of a day/afternoon kind of person. 🙂

Belgium, Hungary, Denmark, Norway, Cyprus and Turkey.

9. If you could be any Buffyverse character for a day who would it be and why?
I would like to be Buffy fighting a vampire. I would love to feel in so much control and feel that strong.

I'm a lot more than just a positive person, even though I like it a lot that people see me like that. I have a very serious side, and I tend to overthink things and worry probably more than I should sometimes. I'm not always happy and I don't always see the bright side of things, but I have been working really hard to try to, so I'm glad it's showing.

Night. I have very weird sleeping habits but I can never seem to wake up in the morning. Not without caffeine, anyway. I'm so much more (naturally) energized at night.

China, Mexico, Canada (briefly), Thailand, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Nevada, and Texas. I want to do a lot more international travel though!

Awkward, oddball, thoughtful.

@This Year's Girl: yeah, I volunteer at a local aquarium! We're actually affiliated with a university and an oceanography institute so we're more like a research aquarium too. I handle animals (lots of starfish, sea snails, lobsters, and sea cucumbers mostly) and teach people about conservation. It's a lot of fun! 😀

For me, an HBIC means Head Bitch in Charge, and I mentioned it because in my personal canon Dawn eventually becomes head of the reformed Watcher's Council. I can see her being a fair and kickbutt boss who's capable of laying down the law too. Oh, and in my personal canon, the new Watcher's Council exists as a partner to the Slayers, not an overseer. I like my personal canon. 🙂

1. Where did you grow up and what was it like?

Well....I've had a very interesting life. We've always moved around and so I've "grown up" in alot of places. The four main places were probably:
-Canada (0-3 years old)
-Portugal (4-8)
-US, New Mexico (9-14) This is the place where I consider to grow up in. I really liked it, and it felt like home. I guess it also helps that I lived here the longest.
-Mexico (15-...) This is where I am living now. I counted it cause I'm still growing up I guess

2. What do you do for a living?

I'm a student doing high-school right now, as a correspondance course. I also do alot of volunteer work here, as well as babysitting.

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards?

Doing digital art, skyping with friends, going to the beach, rock-climbing, wakeboarding, surfing, sleeping, laszing around, partying, dancing, and watching way to much TV

I love ravioli, vegetarian lasagna, stir fry, eggplant parmeasan. As for movie, I have no idea! Possibly Love Actually, it has a special place in my heart. Books...wow, I really like fantasy series, so I'd have to with Wheel of Time, Song of Ice and Fire, and of course Lord of the Rings

Okay, brace yourselves, this is a long list. People are always shocked that I've been to so many countries at only 15. Although some of these I've just visited for a day, still counts though! US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Portugal, Spain, Germany, The Netherlands, Ireland, England, Japan, and I'm going to visit China at the end of the year 😀

I grew up, well, around the south-eastern parts of Norway. With six addresses before I turned eighteen, I suppose I can say it was dynamic. 😎

Working, studying, mothering, riding, sewing ... occasionally blogging.

I'm useless with all time favourites. But I enjoy sushi, have watched "Dirty Dancing" more than once, think that "Brokeback Mountain" did the short story justice and can probably read Astrid Lindgren's "Brothers Lionheart" a dozen more times without tiring of it.

Both. It's the late evenings I don't really do.

1. Where did you grow up and what was it like?
I grew up in Stockholm and à–sterskär, both of them in Sweden. One is the capital and the second a smaller town (like 35 000 inhabitants or so) in the archipelago.
I had a really miserable childhood though, through no fault of these places I later realized as I do love them, but I'll spare you details 🙂

I am a personal trainer

Work or work out myself more or less 😉 Most of my free-time goes either to BB or I spend it towards exegesis (yes, I'm a nerd 😉) Or of course the obvious of spending time with friends or family.

Gran's cooking, best chinese you could get in town 🙂

Movie is a hard choice as it changes repeatedly. For today I'll say ”The nightmare before Christmas” or ”Plan 9 from out of space” (c'mon! It's so epically bad it's awesome 😉)

Even harder to choose a book, I love books! I'm gonna go with ”The picture of Dorian Gray” I adore Oscar Wildes works.

An insomniac so... both. I'm growing towards being more of a morning person though.

My nordic neighbors (Denmark, Finland, Norway), Spain, the UK, France, Belgium, Greece, China, the Czech Republic, Bratislava, The Netherlands, Hungary, Croatia, Cyprus, Germany and this fall I'm going to the US (Michigan) 🙂

Telford, UK. It's really boring actually, there's not much to do around here, or places to go and nothing exciting happens. However, it's quite quiet and I always feel safe around here.

Currently a student, studying Media in college, I've almost finished my first year and then next year is my last year.

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards?
I go out with friends to the cinema, shopping, as well as, reading, watching TV, drawing and tweeting.

Bangers and mash, with baked beans is my favourite meal.
I don't really have any favourite movies, but the one film I have watched several times is the Rocky Horror Picture Show, so I guess that counts.
I like both the Harry Potter, True Blood and Doctor Who books. As well as anything written by James Patterson, he's my favourite author.

Definitely a night person, I hate getting up early, but I love staying up late.

Loads of places; Wales, France (Paris, Le Mans), Spain, Tenerife, Greece (Kefalonia), I've been to a few other places as well, but these are the ones that I remember well.

I don't think I'd like to be any character, but if I had to be a character, it'd probably be Willow, I've always loved the idea of magic.

I can be way too serious at times, I talk way too fast when I get excited, I can start talking about a certain topic and then change to another topic instantly which usually confuses people.

I've been working part-time in a school uniform shop since I was 16. Right now I am wrapping up the last couple months of a masters in International Studies and I think after that I'll probably head to teacher school.

Life things! I'm with my family and/or friends constantly, I read, listen to music, I travel and occasionally I will live for a complete series TV boxset. 😉

1. Where did you grow up and what was it like? I grew up in Springfield, Ohio. Sort of. I spent a lot of the time with my grandparents who lived in the county area... it was nice but a little bit lonely because even though I had this big yard and big house to play in, I didn't see my friends a lot.

2. What do you do for a living? I'm still in school. I have a couple jobs, but they're unpaid (like being a writer on Winx-Fairies)

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards? I do school clubs (mostly choir), a LOT of beadwork and fashion design, tumblr, facebook, and reading.

4. Are you married, taken, or single? I'm single, and I sort of bring it on myself (I'm kind of relationship-shy, I HATE making the first move even if I know someone likes me). I kinda need a relationship though, guys keep trying to convince me I'm straight.

5. What is your all time favorite food/movie/book? My favorite food is a tie between Stouffer's Macaroni and Cheese, and my grandmother's sweet chili. My favorite movie is probably Anastasia, and my favorite book is City of Ashes (the second Mortal Instruments book).

6. Are you a morning person or a night person? That depends on your definition. I love the night, and will stay up all night... it's hard for me to sleep before three or four, and I wake up at frequent intervals. However, I'm usually cheerful as soon as I'm awake, so some might call me a morning person.

7. Where have you traveled to? Last year I was in ten states over the course of the summer... but the farthest place I've traveled to from home is Cozumel, Mexico.

9. If you could be any Buffyverse character for a day who would it be and why? I would really just wanna be me put into the Buffyverse... if I had to be someone else, I guess I would be Tara. If I have to explain why, shame on you.

1. Where did you grow up and what was it like?

I grew up in Woodford Green, Essex, England. It's a very Essex area (don't know if anyone has seen "The only way is Essex" - it's filmed down the road to me) It's very much home though and i am very proud to be British although i want to move to Antigua and my second home is Memphis.

2. What do you do for a living?

I am a student, i just finished doing my A2 levels (Photography, Psychology & English Language) i'm waiting for the results now. I'm planning on going to University in september to study English Literature with creative writing.

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards?

Watch various tv shows, go out with my friends, buy/sell on ebay, make scrap books, study, collecting merch, go to the pub, read, watch movies, running and gym, shopping and other everyday stuff...

I am in a relationship with something. We have been together just over three years. We live together in our flat in Loughton. He is not a Buffy/Angel fan!!!

Night time! It's like i come alive at night (i now how cheesy that sounds) i hate mornings! I love to sleep and dream!

1. Where did you grow up and what was it like?
Well, I grew up in many different places in Australia and New Zealand. I was born in Auckland, New Zealand and that's where I am living now but I have moved to Camberra (Aussie), Wellington (NZ) and other places. I've lived in about 9 houses, 🙂 But living in all these places was great, I don't like moving but I met some great people.

2. What do you do for a living?
...sit in a chair in front of a computer. Nah, I got paid for singing once. And I do some unpaid stuff like roleplay. That should be paid, it takes effort.

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards?
School, not that that's in my free time. I sing, write songs, dance around like an idiot, watch Gilmore Girls and Buffy, film scenes with my little sister and I roleplay in the Buffy roleplay I do on tumblr. <3

Single--always have been, always will be. 🙂 Well, probably.

Pizza potato for my favourite food. The Little Mermaid or Easy A for my favourite movie, oh or a Harry Potter one and my favourite book is um...Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows or the Buffy the Vampire Slayer books I own.

Australia and AMERICA!! I went there once on a trip and it was the best two weeks of my life. I'd love to do it again.

1. Where did you grow up and what was it like?
I grew up on the Big Island of Hawai'i but I live in Cali now. I would have to say it was pretty damn awesome growing up there. Suprisingly, being a white girl in a sea of many races made me more open minded, not less. Hawaiian culture is absolutely beautiful and so are the islands. 2. What do you do for a living?
I'm about to graduate with a degree in Veterinary Technology (RVT) in 2 weeks! Yippee! Can't wait to be done with school! I work at a small cat and dog clinic and I'm also interning at a Wildlife Rehab Center which has been absolutely amazing!

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards?
Free time? Ha! Being a student with a job and an internship has been pretty hardcore but I still manage to have a little fun here and there. Usually, I hang out with my girlfriends, go hiking or to the beach in beautiful Santa Cruz, stay home and watch movies while eating copious amounts of food (cause I'm an addict like that) 😉 or shake my booty on the dance floor.

4. Are you married, taken, or single?
Single at the moment. No time for boys! Well, boyfriends that is. 😉 Looking forward to traveling Europe this summer. Oh yeah!

5. What is your all time favorite food/movie/book?
French fries (and beer)/Labryinth/Lord of The Rings Trilogy

6. Are you a morning person or a night person?
Oh god....NIGHT person. You don't want to talk to me before I've had my coffee.

7. Where have you traveled to?
Costa Rica, Guatemala, Vancouver BC, most of the East Coast and soon to be many places in Europe. I love traveling!!!! Gives you a whole new perspective on life.

8. What are three words that best describe you?
Goofy, weirdo, indulger

9. If you could be any Buffyverse character for a day who would it be and why?
I would have to agree with Tintaglia so I could snog with Angel and Spike....plus, well she's Buffy and I would love to kick some evil ass!

I'm a lover not a fighter 😉

1. Where did you grow up and what was it like?
St.Louis. It was alright growing up here. I mean it wasn't awesome or anything.lol
2. What do you do for a living? Library clerk.(That's the title). But basically I put away material and shelve it in order the way it's suppose to be.

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards? I'm on livejournal a lot. It's a must. I go on there several times a day. I also read and watch tv in my spare time.

5. What is your all time favorite food/movie/book? Cheese Pizza. I don't really have an all time favorite movie or book. It's just hard to narrow any of that down.

6. Are you a morning person or a night person? I think I'm a afternoon-y person and a night person.

7. Where have you traveled to? Florida(A few times),Colorado,Mexico,California.(That I can remember.)

9. If you could be any Buffyverse character for a day who would it be and why? Umm... that's hard. Tara. Because I'm a little like her (I don't mean that I look like or or anything.)

10. Whats the one thing everyone should know about you? Um... I don't know. I can be a little obsessive compulsive... but I probably shouldn't say that and ...I just did say it.

1. Where did you grow up and what was it like?
I'm a born and bred Perth girl. I loved most of my childhood. When I was a kid I moved into Unit 10 of a complex, then I moved into Unit 9, and now I live in Unit 8. Good times!

2. What do you do for a living?
I'm a travel agent. It's one of the hardest jobs I've ever worked, but when you spend a week 'working' in Bali like I just did it makes me realise how much I love my job.

3. What do you do with your free time besides hanging out on Buffy Boards?
I drink! Haha, nah I play a lot of football (soccer) and hang out with the girls from the team quite a lot.

4. Are you married, taken, or single?
I'm single. I was engaged for a year and a half and with my ex for 4 years so I've been enjoying living the single life, but I'm kind of sick of the one night stand thing and kind of ready to settle down.

5. What is your all time favorite food/movie/book?
Food - cheese
Movie - Citizen Kane
Book - The Shining

6. Are you a morning person or a night person?
Neither really. I guess I'm more of a night person usually.

7. Where have you traveled to?
I've spent a lot of time in England - London, Liverpool, Bude and Bath. Also Singapore a few times, Dubai a couple of times and I just got back from Bali. Oh, some domestic travel - Melbourne and Sydney.

8. What are three words that best describe you?
Out of control.

9. If you could be any Buffyverse character for a day who would it be and why?
Buffy. Definitely. I would love to have the strength that Buffy has, the killer body and beautiful face, but more than that I would love to have the feeling that Buffy would have of knowing what her purpose in life in.

10. Whats the one thing everyone should know about you?
I have gone this entire post without mentioning that the love of my life is Everton. Forever and ever.

Watching movies, listening to music, making music and hanging out with my friends. I think that's it.

I'm a creature of the night 😉 I hate mornings. Sometimes I even kind of wait for the night. I don't exactly know why.

I don't travel much. I've been to some countries that are near Germany. Italy, France, Switzerland and so on.

Funny, nice, weird.

9. If you could be any Buffyverse character for a day who would it be and why?
I'd want to be just some guy from Sunnydale High so I could hang with the Scoobies or something like that.
But if I had to choose between the main cast, I'd want to be Xander I think. Or Oz maybe. Anyway, I couldn't imagine being Buffy or Willow, 'cause I'm a guy and that would be pretty weird then.

I hate alcohol. It tastes really crappy in my opinion. Most of it anyway.
