Was Spike still a ghost by the end of the series? He could touch things after awhile so I am confused.

He learned that through concentration, he could touch things. I think that after practicing concentration for a while, it just became natural, and everything was fine.

Also, by the end of the series, he wasn't a ghost anymore.

He got solidified. In...the one with the cup.

In "Destiny", Lindsey sent Spike a package that somehow (it was never fully explained) made him solid again. This sent the world into chaos since there was only supposed to be one ensouled vampire/champion (Spike hadn't counted before since he hadn't saved the world after his ensoulment until the end of "Chosen"). The Senior Partners managed to get everything stabelized, but the realization that Spike might be the one to shanshu really shook Angel (which was pretty much Lindsey's intention).
