This Ghost of Albion series, can anyone explain how it works?

dramas and novels are listed, but I wonder how they fit together chronologically and how the stories belong together. Are the books telling a different story than the dramas?

You see, I've bought the Accursed novel but wonder if I should read/see anything else before I read it to follow the story.

* "Embers"
* Initiation
* Accursed
* Witchery

Now, I can not assure you the following is a 100% accurate but is my humble opinion 😀 . I do not think the books tell a different story than the dramas, personally I think that since they followed the online BBC episodes/clips and the aired series they just continued where the other ones were left. I would recommend to search for those online eps since they might clarify facts that the book could leave aside and/or simply omit. The better place would be mininova.org but since I've already searched in there and unfortunately nothing came up, the 2nd better option would be an official website or fanforum.
