I was just thinking in the last ep when willow sucked all the magick out of giles and then they had that connection which meant giles could see willow, what happened to that, was it closed purposely or did it just fade away?
Willow has had that kind of link with all of them, when she speaks to them in their heads, so there must be an "Off" Button kind of thing, or maybe it was just there when Giles needed it, or just temperary. I love it when walks in and hits her with that energy ball, he is so cool! Mr :buffy_gil 😀
Lol, yeah, Giles rules!! And yeah, I guess lots of theories could be devised about what happened to the connection, but maybe it was a writer screw up?
well the magic she sucked from him was supposed to restore some humanity back in her. Giles knew this and thats why he let her do it. It is my favorite moment of the season when he walks in and says "I'd like to test that theory".
mulder22 is right, that is def one of THE best moments of the season!
i don't know about the whole connection thing with giles, but i kind of agree with Spudd168, willow DID have a connection with all of the scoobies and was able to talk to them all telepathicaly at the beginging of this season, but willow didn't always initiate the contact...during the 7th season ep 'showtime' it was buffy who made 'first contact' or whatever...
Hey I'm new. I've watched Season Six a lot and I think that yea Willow has that cool telepathic thing going with the whole gang but that's when she's all like tapping into the magicks and stuff to do it. The connection with Giles is sorta of because the coven gave him the true power of magick and the magick was inside Giles and I guess his humanity and what not and then by Willow taking it so forcefully from him she forged sort of a link between them and when Xander stops her in the last episode that link fades because she is grieving normally not in a magick homicidal way and she doesn't have the need to call on that link again but i guess she could if she wanted.
Wow that was long. Sorry Guys.
