Hi everyone, I'm a "newbie" to the board, but a straight-up oldhead when talking about the Vampire Slayer series. My favorite player in the game is Giles, and it's the Buffy/Giles dynamic that also interests me. I'm looking forward to reading of his new adventures in season 8. I've read all of the comics so far, (the Angel series too) but I don't want to give anything away. Anyway, I'm sure I'll be chatting it up with many of you fellow fans, and I'm looking forward to it.

Cool, it's nice that people are very friendly here.

Okay... my favorite scenes from Giles:
1. Giles scolds Wesley about asking an 18 year old to dance while stating he has the emotional maturity of a blueberry scone... lol...
2. Giles gets shot in the booty by a tranquilizer and falls down saying "bloody hell"... I watch that one and still laugh every time, lol...
3. Buffy asks Xander how he remembers being a former hyena, and the look our boy Giles gives him during the conversation... man I love that show....

How do you think he and Faith will get along on their adventures? That could be the ultimate dynamic for me on the show. Those two have so much in common, but at the same time so different.

Heh I love when Giles gets hit by the dart too. LOL still when he falls over the tombstone in All the Way. Love the Giles episodes like A New Man, and Helpless. Missed him when he moved back to England, I'm with Willow he doesn't have that many friends there, you'd think he would have stayed in California. 🙁

I'm not that much of a Giles fan, but I do admit I like his accent and he did have some great scenes.
My favourites were when he run into a tree (Earshot) and the end of s6, first 'I'd like to test that theory' and that scene with Buffy where Buffy tells him what's been going on in Sunnydale (or how everyone screwed up) and they start laughing all of a sudden.
