For all the Calendiles fans out there, let's use this thread to suggest fanfic and to talk about how amazingly awesome Giles and Jenny are! 😀

Have you guys seen this site? http://twosomeofcute.livejournal.com/ These two write back and forth switching from Giles and Jenny's perspective from season 1 to season 7 as if Jenny never died in the show. It's AMAZING. My only complaint is she has them get physical way early on and I personally, really like thinking that they're quick kiss in The Dark Age was their first 😛

Well, I have pretty much a whole archive of my favortie Calendiles fics. I've searched long and hard to find these, slogging through Swamps of Suffy fics and sorting through Barrels of Bangel fics to finally discover them. I posted a couple of them in a different thread, but I thought that It would be nice to have them all in one place. 😀

I am a big Jenny-Giles fan. I like the picture of a Giles with a person he can trust more than another character on BTVS. But I also think Joyce/Giles would have been a good couple.This didn't work and Jenny/Giles didn't work too! Sometimes I think that they could have bring more about Jenny's past and her family.
So I think the writters missed two really importent relationships! It is so sad that they couldn't bring one of the two together with Giles!
 
By the way, somebody JUST started a Calendiles fanfiction blog on tumblr! I don't have the link, but it looks pretty good so far.

Over on the "Jenny's Death" threat we were discussing who likes Jenny and if what she did to the Scoobies was forgivable. I like this fic because it shows her relationship with Giles from her POV and how it transformed from, "This guy is kinda cute" to "I'm in love with him." I think it adds a lot of meaning to when Jenny tells Giles in Passion, "I didn't know I was going to fall in love with you."

The two major Calendiles writers I've found out there are known as "Marisa/Dollsome/Dollsom" (yes, without the 'e') and "Fixating/Buffied". They've both got a lot of stuff on livejournal. 😀

There was a time I thought there were not many Calendiles (love that name btw 🙂 ) around, but lately I've been finding quite a few.
