Giles' Mannerisms.

Just a minor observation......

Has anyone else noticed that whenever Giles does anything violent, he wipes his hands with a handkerchief in that disturbingly MacBeth way?

Yes, I have noticed that. Giles has a lot of habitual actions, doesn't he? He also tends to pinch the bridge of his nose when any of the kids do anything annoying, and cleans his glasses when he's nervous.

I noticed that too..... for some reason whenever I noticed that he did the hand-wiping thing post-violence, I found it creepy in a "Ripper" kinda way.... like he was going to do something bad or evil, but he was going to do it as mannerly, polite, and clean as he could. It's like the polite-evil guy or something (which I guess is why he seemed to have the Ripper-ish-edge).

Giles certainly is a complex character, that's for sure!
