Sorry, I couldn't really think of a good title for this thread
I was just reading another thread about that scene at the end of the episode "Damage" where Andrew states the Scoobies' dissaproval and non- trust of Angel since he came to Wolfram & Hart, and that got me thinking about the episode "Shells", when Angel calls Giles to ask for help killing Illyria and getting back Fred. Giles refuses because he no longer trusts Angel.
So, even though there may have not been a way to bring Fred back, and even if Giles not trusting Angel may be in many ways justified, I found this extremely narrow minded of Giles. From my observations, the way the writers treated the entire Scooby Gang in Season 5 of AtS was not as I would have wanted. Anyway back to the point, does anyone else think that Giles was narrow minded in this instance, and moreover, do you think the writers handled the Scooby Gang badly in this season?
