Giles Question

Giles is a man of mystery. I recall past episodes such as "The Dark Age" and "Halloween" where Ethan Raine tells him that the Scoobies don't have a clue on what he's really like or what he's done. In "Tough Love", one of Glory's minions are evesdropping in the Magic Shop. The minion is reluctant to talk when suddenly while Anya and Willow grab the duck tape, Giles does something to it that changes his mind. Anyone have any idea on what he did or told it exactly?

Giles broke or hurt a part of the minion,on the upper level more than likely,as when the girls turned their backs you hear a click,as though he broke his nose or something.

It begins filming next month so will probaly be shown in the Autunm.

Just been on the BBC website and it states that Ripper will air in the US in the spring of 2003

Im not enterirly sure but from what i gather (i have inside contacts on this one) Giles will head up a team simialer to the team he had in the Buffy season 3 ep the wish. They will fight demons, as you would expect. Also my contact has stated that some Buffy cast members may appear in the finale to help Giles fight. This hasnt been made offical yet but all signs seem to say it will be soon. Makes sense to have Buffy cast members in it though as it would help pull in ratings.

Just fond out about this but work on the show is to be delayed because of Joss Whedon doing a new show - Firefly to be shown stateside and probably on Sky eventually too. This will only delay the shooting it is still shedueld to be screeneed in Autumn. Ill try and get info on firefly as soon as poss.

I agree, for once British viewers will be able to see something before the Americans. Why cant they just show the eps at the same time?? Its just so unfair!!!!!
