its all their powers, that we know of, for giles, im talking about the coven empowered giles and the wes pre death.

While Wes is a talented magician and good fighter...the Coven-Empowered Giles held more than his own against Dark Willow. Therefore, I have voted in favor of Giles. Wes loses in a matter of minutes.

I say Wes... I don't know why but I do, however season 3 (of Buffy)Wes against Giles it'd be Giles I think.

Ooh, tough one. I really want to say Wes, because he's just so cool. But Giles, along with the powers of the coven, would beat him hands down. But Wes is still hella cool!

Giles with the power of the coven would clean the floor with Wes. Even without the coven powers, in a physical fight Giles would whip Wes. I always remember the scene from Buffy where Giles and Wes are fencing in the library and Giles is talking to Buffy while Wes is trying so hard to beat him...lol.
