simple question...

Ripper-Giles from Bandcandy Vs Wesley from S5 of Angel

Who wins? Knockdown fight, everything and anything goes

Depends... Can Ripper use magic? Cause I'm pretty sure he could. 😛

If not, then I go with bad ass Wes.

Think end of Season 5 of Buffy - Giles murders a man for the greater good. I think Giles can be cold & collected when needed.

That said - I still vote for ATS Season 5 Wesley. Badass.

True, I just think we saw more of that in Wesley than we did in Giles...thats why I think Wesley would win the fight.
Giles with all his skills and knowledge as Ripper, Vs Wesley with all his skills and knowledge at the end of S5 Angel...

We know Giles knows at least some magic, having actually summoned and bound demons to him before (Eyhgon)... he's ruthless as well, and can quite happily murder a man in cold blood, as we say in The Gift...

But Wesley is no slouch either, a far cry from what he started out as...

Hm. Well I think it'd be one hell of a fight because they are pretty evenly matched. But Ripper in Band Candy was a tad bit sloppy. I'd have to give it to Wes. (Wes at the very end of season 5, after he regains the memories of Connor and all that crap.)

But depending on where in the timelines you pull them from, Giles would win some as well. Giles is also badass.
 
I'm going with bad-ass Season 5 Wes. 🙂 I love Ripper and all, but Wes was pretty damn cool and seemed like he could definitely handle himself.

Ok ok...I'll answer. This is tough. I think I'm going to have to go with Ripper. Even though I still think Wes could still handle himself (no pun intended.....ew...)
 
Giles's experience would give him the edge for me. Wesley would surprise him though and give him a good fight.
 
Gotta go with my man Wesley. 🙂 If he has his weapons and all, I think he would be pretty unstoppable.
 
Wesley of course. At the end he could shoot fireballs and he has that awesome hidden sword thing. I think Wes at the end of season 5 could take on any Giles. He has youth, better magic skills, and a heck of a lot of battle experience. Not that Giles doesn't, but Giles seemed to rely on Buffy more than Wesley relied on Angel during battles.
