I want to live in a world where everyone, not just females, can love and value themselves. Self love doesn't mean that you just accept where you're at and don't work for anything better and it doesn't mean that you are okay with everything about yourself, it just means treating yourself the way you think you should treat others. And it doesn't begin by avoiding mirrors, it begins by acknowledging what you see in the mirror. Some things you can and should change, like if your weight is unhealthy, it's not self love to stay that way. And some things you should work to be okay with. I also think that it's silly to imagine that looks don't matter to some degree. We are all attracted to certain appearances, typically for biological reasons, and no amount of denial is going to make that go away. That being said I think that a lot of girls(and boys) need to work on what's on the inside to be okay with what's on the outside and if covering a mirror is the push they need(I doubt it is) then so be it
