Give me proof that Allie hates Spike.

According to an interview done by Buffyfest at Comic-con, all the actual dialogue will be written by Joss. Allie seems to have more of a fill in the blanks role in the last arc. I don't think he will be as heavily involved as we initially thought. I'd say the arc is going to be 80-90% Joss, and he likes Spike so I expect Buffy/Spike to be given their fair treatment. In fact Allie said as much months ago.

I hope you are right and I really appreciate that you try to make me, - a "rival" shipper - feel better. 🙂

I remember Scott Allie saying that he thinks that Spike's lines come naturally to him (or something along these lines) - so he writes some dialogue after all.

Hopefully Joss will treat all characters fairly. I don't like what Joss does to Buffy and especially to Angel (but that's another story) and I'm afraid that I won't like what Joss will do to Spike. But if it will be Joss' decision, I'll accept it.

I really try not to have "rivals". Some of my best fandom friends are Spuffies, especially on this board. We don't like each other's ships, it doesn't mean we have to hate each other. 🙂

From my POV Spike has been incredibly kind to Spike. He was intended as one time baddie and now look where he is? So, while you may not get everything you want I do think that Spike will at least be treated with respect by his creator.

How Joss treats Buffy and Angel, well...that really is another story lol 😉 I kind of get the impression we won't actually be able to give a final statement on that until the last installment of this verse, which really could be never.

To me he comes across as an arrogant muthaf but that don't mean I hate him, to hate him I would have to care which I don't.

If he is like that in real life as he comes across in the interviews I've read, I would probably hate working with/for him to be honest.
