Graduation Day Part I (Transcript) Buffyworld.com
Faith: Ready to cut loose?
Buffy: Try me.
Faith: Okay then. Give us a kiss. "

Anyone know what Faith meant when she said, "Give us a kiss"? It's quite an ominous little statement.

Doesn't really mean much, in terms of definition. It's more of "Give me your best shot" kind of phrase.
Either that or she couldn't resist Buffy anymore. =)

It's funny because I've just changed my sig lately. 😀

I think she said it because Buffy just said she's just like Faith, but she's holding it in. So Faith kinda told her to burst it out by kissing(Not really. She's just teasing her. Or got her angry. And we all know that Buffy wouldn't do it. If so, I would nose-bleed till someone had to call a doctor.) Because you know, Faith always bursted it out by sexual action. Or I just think too much?

I can't remember the exact quote, but there was a saying that I encountered somewhere that was like "Give us a kiss, darlin' and let's get down to business." That was probably the jest of what Faith was saying, pretty much like she said to Angel later, "let the games begin," and much later, to Connor, "Break me off a switch. There's gonna be a whuppin'." (Eliza probably really wanted to say "Bring It On," but they wouldn't let her because it would have been a plug for her movie. I heard that later, in "Dirty Girls," she wanted to tell Willow that she must have made a "Wrong Turn" somewhere, but they wouldn't let her do that either, She wound up saying, "Yep. we're back in Sunnydale.")

I always took it to mean "hit me with your best shot" like a challenge. But I also always thought there were lesbian undertones between Faith and Buffy so the line played on that for me. 🙂
