Overall it's great! Season 1 and 4 are amazing! Seasons 2 and 3 are very good! Season 5 is definitely the weakest, but still worth seeing.

Season 1 was very good.
Season 2 was a meh retread of S1.
Season 3 was smelly poop and where the show started to go wrong in terms of character, plotting and the understanding of the upside-down.
Season 4 had good aspects and overall was stronger than the previous seasons.
Season 5 pretty much destroyed everything that made S4 remarkable and damaged the show as a whole as well as having an awful overall plot, too many characters with nothing to do, nonsensical worldbuilding and so many plotholes, contradictions, etc...it just exposed the Duffer Bros as very poor writers. Whoever hired them for their next project is probably kicking themselves.
Edit: oops meant to say that S2 is a retread of S1. Also @Taake poked me and made me cry, meanie.
