Giving "Dark Angel" Another Look

I've finished re=watching the "Terminator" TV series, and started on James Cameron's "Dark Angel," with Jessica Albe. There are enough similarities between Buffy and Max, especially in the 2nd Season, to make it really interesting, and I honestly think that Jessica, like Sarah, had the role of a lifetime in their respective series, too soon in their careers, and it has been detrimental to them ever since, though I have seen the first episode of Jessica's new series, "L S's Finest," and it shows promise.
 
In what ways are there similarities between Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Dark Angel?
I looked for L S's Finest and found nothing, did you mean LA's Finest?

The similarities in S4eason 1 are, basically, Max is a super soldier, at least as powerful as any Slayer. Not a whole lot, really, just another hot kick ass teenage girl. Season 2, however, introduced a whole bunch of human/animal crossbreeds, or, more accurately, the crossbreeds were more obvious, since part of the super soldier program had always been splicing certain animal genetic material into the human host (Max was part cat, as I recall) Anyway, they could have stood in for demons in Sunnydale, and no one would have known the difference.

And, yeah, Jessica's new show is "L A's Finest" I just missed the "A" and hit the "S" instead.
 
I thought you were going to mention Riley and Zack, I hadn't thought of Max and Buffy. Prof Walsh wasn't as good as Mantacor or the Snake people.
