Glad there's no season 6?

Gunn wouldn't have been back. I'm not sure they could have done a whole season...I think the short movies would have been a more fitting conclusion...

Thanks for clearing that up. And considering that Wes was dead long before Gunn was dying, why are people assuming that Wes could be part of Season 6 and not Gunn [But, I think they could've done something cool with Season Six of Angel. Wesley, Lorne, Cordy, Fred, all gone [and I'm guessing Gunn died since he was bleeding ALOT]?
 
I'm guessing the only hope for Gunn would be the fan fictional story of the Scoobies showing up for the final battle and having Willow heal him as she did when Buffy was shot in S6.

But why would people assume Wes would be part of Season 6, when he was killed before Gunn was dying?
 
Here's the quote:

I think what they were saying was that it was possible, had they been approved for a 6th Season, that Wesley and/or Gunn may not have been killed off at the end. That if they were renewed for another season, Joss may have done some things differently.

Hope that's all cleared up 😀

I reeeeeeaaaaalllly would've hoped so. If Joss had killed off everyone the show wouldn't have been as good. Gunn and Wesley were on it for a looong time, and if Cordy wasn't going to be in Season Six, I would've wanted them to be on it. Yeesh. But, I guess we'll never know if they would've been in it since we aren't getting a Season Six.

Psh, damn WB. I swear, I won't even watch "The Mountain" 'cause it took the spot of Angel -- LOL.

I don't watch the WB anymore...they don't have good shows and they've kept Charmed running over Angel? PUH-LEASE!
 
I'll do you one better. I don't watch TV anymore. Which is really sad considering I pay for digital cable with the movie channels and everything. I was only going to keep it for when friends come over to watch tv(which isn't often cause everyone I know has a big-screen tv), and hockey...and DAMNIT...there's likely no bloody hockey this year cause of a stoopid labour dispute!!! So really, I'm paying for something that I am really not using all that much. I guess I do record a movie off of the movie channels every once and awhile...oh well.

i think WB decided to end the show and that caused joss to rush a finish... it did feel that way
I did like the ending but i dont like the idea of keeping things open and not wrapped up when we all know that there aint gonna be any short movies or another season....

this happened wirth buffy .
they rushed the finish and i think buffy and angel was such a good show with so many followers they both deserved a better ending ...

is there any way that the jossverse will contiue ??comics ?

anything ever happen with ripper ?

I didn't find the BUFFY finale rushed. I thought the episode before it - "End of Days" - was rushed.

I should have been more clear.... I didn;t feel the last ep of buffy was rushed just the build up to it........

same with angel.......
To be honest i need some 1 to clear something up for me......

In angel from the early seasons we were told about angels playing a huge role and prophecy ( <- spelling ? )

but i am still not clear what the last eps of angel told us....
did angel fulfill his role in all of this....... ??
what did angel and the gang achieve ??

can some 1 tell me this ?? sorry ... would be helpfull
I have a lot of questions and as i am the only person i know who watches angel not many people to ask ...

I know joss would have worked a miracle and the s6 would have been even better...as for the nina thing eh..but as long as angel's happy..
