24 hours of solid trying to get tickets to glasto was wasted i was up til half two this morning trying online and got woken up 6 hours laters. havent stopped all day.

and now all 150, 000 or how ever many have gone. ::light::

I'm sorry you didn't get these tickets...It's hard when you want sth very much and you still not succeed..
 
a Legendary music festival, the only one that gets national TV couverage with out fail and sells out before any acts get anounced.

Has Mr Pointy ever been to one? I'm sure he'll come and tell you more, its nearly quarter to one in the am here so he'll be back from clubbing soon 😉

Actually, I've just finished watching the George Harrison tribute concert on the telly - far more civilised...he wrote some damn fine songs but always seemed to get overshadowed by John and Paul...

I've never been to Glastonbury - far too commercial an operation for my tastes tho' they usually manage to get some pretty good bands by the sound of it. I always preferred the folkier sounds at the Fairport Convention annual reunion bash at Cropredy which usually happens near the start of August...a really good, friendly atmosphere.

Sorry to hear you couldn't get tickets tho' - it was actually on the radio news about how fast it sold out. Never mind, you'll be able to watch the Glastonbury highlights on telly Faldor, with the cheap booze of your choice instead of plastic-glass festival swill and without the dubious delights of festival toilets, rain, mud, heavy-handed security clowns and some moron bringing your tent down when they drunkenly stumble through the guy-ropes etc. - Altogether now, "Always look on the bright side of life..." 😉

No, just Cropredy and a few small, local ones in the Midlands. I haven't even been to Cropredy for a while - since I got married in fact(Mrs P is not a big folk fan 😉)
