Love this show so much. Sure a few of the episodes of season two are a bit crappy due to no plot-line (Britney/Brittany) or due to a theme (Rocky Horror) or just a celeb stint (The Substitute), but it's still fun.
Grilled Cheesus aired on Monday in the UK (I've already seen up to the Christmas episode), and it was awesome. Next episode is Duets.
And I have to say that the third promo is hilarious, when Sue messes up the office and Figgins screams, "NOT THE WOMAN. NO!", I cracked up.

I started crying again, god that episode is so sad. I forgot how good it was though, one of my favourite Glee episodes tbh. 🙂

I love all the songs from the Super Bowl episode. But, I'm gonna wait till they're released over here to download them, I got most of the season 2 ones off YouTube and now buy them on iTunes as they come out over here, but I've made a commitment to myself that I will not download any songs or watch future episodes until they come out over here.
Anyway...
Thriller/Heads Will Roll - LOVE this. I wish it was longer, since Thriller is 5 minutes, but it's still awesome. Did anyone else want Finn/Cory to do the evil laughter at the end? (At least I think the Vincent Price narration is Finn/Cory, correct me if I'm wrong.)
Bills, Bills, Bills - Typical 90's song, reminds me of songs that are on the Bridget Jones's Diary album (the album is my mum's, but I love most of the songs on there), so it's nice to have one of those cheesy songs once in a while.
Need You Now - Someone tell me why I've only just heard this song?! It's fantastic. And finally, a Puckleberry duet!
She's Not There - It's a Finn/Cory song, I was certain I was gonna love it.
Anyone know if the Super Bowl episode is actually an hour and a half? I heard a rumour it is, but I haven't seen any official announcement, because if it is true, why are they only doing 4 songs? They usually cram 6/7 into a normal episode, having less in a longer episode seems odd.
Also, what's going on with the California Girls and Meet Me Halfway songs? I was looking forward to them. 🙁

I think the themed episodes are crappy, it was cool last season because we only got one (NO, Theatricality was not a Gaga themed episode, 'cos they included Shout It Out Loud and Funny Girl, I hate it when people say it was a themed one), the Rocky Horror one isn't so bad, since it has some sort of plot, but the Britney/Brittany one was just full of music video recreations and one-liners.
I quite liked the Gwyneth Paltrow one, because it had a decent plot, unlike Britney/Brittany and Rocky Horror (Yes, i said it had some sort of plot, I never said it was good!), people are complaining about Ryan Murphy only having that episode because of Gwyneth Paltrow, but if an Oscar winner wants a part on your show you're not really gonna say no, are ya? And the episode was good, it let the Glee club realise they've been too busy getting ready for the competitions that they've forgotten how to have fun.
So, yeah, Season 2 hasn't been a complete let-down, I still love the characters, the performances, the comedy, the drama, I just wish they had consistently good plots.
Oh, and...
What the hell is up with Ryan Murphy breaking up Quam (Quinn/Sam, if you weren't sure) because he was "bored"?! I LOVE Quam, I think they have great chemistry, although, I'm still hoping Sam's gay, just because I don't see Kurt and Blaine getting together, same about Kurt and Kurofsky. And there have been tons of hints that Sam's gay, especially in Duets, if it's true that they threw it away 'cos Chord and Dianna had good chemistry, then that's stupid. UGH.
The one where they perform at sectionals aired in Australia last night. I already knew what was going to happen, though. I can't believe Emma went to Vegas and got married. Still, I don't mind dentist guy, so I'm happy for her. And I loved the Rachel/Kurt interaction, especially how she was miming for him to smile and she was the first to stand up and clap. 🙂

I heard about that too. One hour and a half would be too AWESOME. I think it's more like 50 minutes. And I heard Meet Me Halfway was cut out because they don't have enough time. And I'm pretty sure Cali Gurls is only a dance performance.

I like RHGS. But I agree B/B is full of music videos. And The Substitute is focused on Gwyneth too much. About the characters, I don't like that they're not family like they claimed to be.

It's really boring. 😛 But Ryan sounds bad saying things like that in public. It can make people lose respect for him. And hi-five for Hevans love. They really threw Hevans away because Dianna/Chord chemistry and Ryan said it's too obvious if Sam is Kurt's bf. I'm not angry that Sam didn't get together with Kurt. I'm angry that I didn't have a chance to see Quindependet. Now she's not one of my fav characters anymore. 🙁
Oh hello Glee thread! Even though I can't really explain why, I love Glee. It feels a bit like a guilty pleasure show for me. I LOOOVVED it in the first series, but the second series went a little weird, so I started liking it less, but I still enjoy it 🙂 I actually mod on a Glee board so that's gotta show that I haven't given up on it 😛 I love Sue, and I can't wait for it to start up again, but I'm hoping they do more 'old glee' style episodes than the theme/guest star focused ones. Like, I loved the one with NPH in it, but the one with Gwenyth Paltrow in it kinda sucked for me.
I heard rumours that they're gonna end up dancing to a My Chemical Romance song in one of the new episodes. Any one know if this is true or any MCR fans think this is a good or bad thing? :/
Ive never seen an episode of Glee until I heard they were doing "Rocky Horror Picture Show" and they were gonna call it "The Rocky Horror Glee Show", my god was it terrible!, I haven't been able to listen to the original soundtrack or watch the movie without being reminded of the trainwreck they made of it.

I just hate the Finn/Rachel pairing right now. He never supports her when the other club members are making fun of her. And yet this is the ship we're intended to be rooting for?
I mean, in "Special Education", Rachel learns that everyone had been hiding the truth about Finn/Santana from her. And yet somehow she's still at fault. What the hell? She was definitely wrong to go off and make out with Puck, but at least she apologized immediately. Rachel constantly supports Finn and he almost never reciprocates.
That's why I hope Puckleberry is the endgame. That's a relationship where both people bring out the best in one another.

Although, I'm a hardcore Finchel fan, I do agree with you. Finn rarely supports Rachel.. she's ready to do everything for him, but him.. he's a little selfish in that relathionship. He didn't even once stood up and said 'Guys, stop! She's a good girl. Stop judging only by the cover. She shows you only what she want you to see. If you want the whole pacage, make it happen!'

Agreed completely, I love Finn to bits, but he never stands up for her. As annoying as she is, I feel sorry for Rachel, most - if not all - of the Glee club tease her, and her boyfriend, who is the one whose supposed to love her, doesn't stick up for her.
Although, Rachel blew the whole Finn/Santana fling out of proportion - Rachel and Finn weren't even dating then, so it wasn't cheating. Yes, he kept it a secret from her, but it's not THAT bad. Honestly, I think her actions are worse than Finn's, she actually cheated, and with Puck! She knew that Finn had already been betrayed by Puck, with Quinn, and she does the same. Ugh. They both annoyed me in Special Education.
Anyways, at the moment I ship Quam. They're cute together, even if Sam is slightly boring, but at least he treats Quinn well.
