If there is gonna be a cliff-hanger it might be
Jesse returning? It'd make sense if he's meant to be in Episode 17, it could just be a cameo at the end of the episode, maybe looking on as ND win (if they do).

And yeah, that'd make sense, and why they wouldn't release the song on iTunes.

OMG, I can totally imagine his face looking creepy in the shadow. 😛

Maybe Santana will write an original song. Very original. 😀

Sorry to come back to this topic, I was too tired to respond when I got home yesterday and I forgot about it until now, but I want to respond.

I wouldn't call you an old fogy... but I'm 19... so 9 years younger than you and I'll say a lot changes in 9 years. The overall attitude when it comes to sex is different now than 9 years ago. I think it started getting worse 9 years ago or so... but it's different now. And yeah, I think my experience more closely resemble the experiences of people in high school now than yours because I was in high school just a year and a half ago. I feel like the show is trying to say not just be comfortable with your sexuality, but know about it. The whole point of this past week's episode, was "if you're going to have sex, learn the risks." That's an important message that needs to be gotten across to high schoolers. And I didn't see this episode encourage people to have sex. Like I said, this episode, at least to me, encouraged people to know what they were doing. If you're going to have sex... know what the hell you're doing. If you don't know what you're doing... don't do it. And the views of the SHOW wasn't if you don't have sex, something's wrong with you... the views of Gweneth's character was if you don't have sex, something's wrong with you... I disagree with that view... but I do think it mirrors the view of high school students.

Ok, I took offense to this. I read it on my phone with a bunch of friends who are still in high school and friends I hung out with in high school and they took offense to it too. This is not just my school.. I was with kids who GO (as in right now) to schools other than mine and they said they feel the same way I do. I know that not everyone is going to think that not having sex in high school is bad... I know I don't think that way at all. But that's the way MOST kids in high school GENERALLY think. I don't think my high school, my group of friends, my whatever was "sad" because the general thought process was this way... I think it was normal for the time. I don't agree with the thought process... but I get it. And by the way, with everything that is generalized... any general trend... ESPECIALLY a trend in thought, there are going to be exceptions. I know that and you could point out several and it wouldn't matter. It's a general trend of a thought process amongst an age group. In general, sex is a casual thing to teens these days. If you don't do it before you graduate, generally speaking, people think there's something wrong. Either you're "crazy" and don't believe in sex before marriage or sex in high school or something... or no one wanted to do it with you. Either way, you're looked down upon. That's just the general feeling towards sex in high school.

If that is really how it is in schools these days, then shows like "Glee" are why it is that way. I am not stupid; I know a lot has changed since I was in school. However, my point is that morality seems to have flown out the window where teenagers are concerned and I don't understand/agree with that.
Sex is not something that should be casual. With all the risks out there today, it's more important now than ever for people to be having protected sex and/or waiting til they find the right person instead of playing musical beds. And I say this as a person who slept with a LOT of people after I left high school because I thought it was the "cool" thing to do. Having sex with a lot of people is not "cool". It's gross, and if you're not careful, it can be dangerous, too. I was lucky I never caught anything, but then again you have people like my cousin Bridget, who was going to wait until marriage to have sex, but chose to give it up to her boyfriend at the age of 25, because she thought they were going to get married and live happily ever after. Well guess what? She sleeps with this guy and gets HPV because HE chose to sleep around before he was with her, and now she may never get to have children because of his mistakes.
It's things like this that make me so passionate about why it's important to make sure kids are taught morals and realize that sex is not a casual thing, and it should never be. Yes, sex is a lot of fun if you do it the right way, but it's not something that high school kids should be doing because there are just too many things that can go wrong. This is why I get so mad at shows like "Glee" and "Gossip Girl" and all those others out there that are geared toward teens and glamorizing sex and how "cool" it is. 'Cause it's not so much cool as it is a really important decision, and what's not cool is when shows like these make fun of people who don't have sex because they realize what an important decision it really is.

I agree so much with you, HisMrs. And I do think it is sad and shocking that some teens (probably more nowadays, but it's always been somewhat of an issue) view sex so casually and are so judgmental about peers who don't have sex.

Very very good points my mothers friend unfortunately got a STD for the fact of her husband cheated on her and she is an adult so kids need to realize they aren't invincible. My friends were crazy about it but I just stick to myself lol.
To be honest I have no problem with shows glamourising sex. Sex is fun! I enjoy sex. What needs to be focused on though is safe sex and making the right decision for you. I have no problem with having sex with people that like and respect me and that I like and respect. It can be fun and it feels good. There's no point in telling teenagers any different.

I'm definitely firmly on the side of educating. Sex can have terrible consequences, it can (as hismrs said) ruin peoples lives and the lives of those around them. It can lead to poor self esteem, the feeling of being used, death, STDs, pregnancy and your boyfriend turning into Angelus.

Okay, let's get back on topic. I mean, yes the last episode was about sex & being sexy but we can talk about the characters and the last episode.

What is with these month long hiatuses? CW was doing that w/ their shows. Now Glee is doing a month long hiatus? They are trying to torture fans.

The topic is "Glee"... no one is going off topic.?

Yes, most shows have a big break this time of year - is it because schools have Spring Break around now? So it's a good time to take a break, just like they do over Christmas and summer?

Sort of. I mean some was still about sex talk on Glee from reading previous posts.

I don't ever remember shows taking a month off. Maybe just have bad memory. But it's going to suck to not have new Glee for a month.

I hate how we have to wait so long for the next episode.

And Britt, I liked this season 😀 I know you didn't, althought your favourite guest star Gwyneth was in it (sarcasam), but it had some pretty amazing episodes, and scenes!

But now, me wantz some Finchel. Ryan better give us some Finchel, or I'll endz him for good.

You're right Min, this Santana talking style is fun 😀

Wantz, endz :D Si me gusta. <3
@Tajana.
Finchel is confirmed that they'll get back together in this season. No worries. 🙂

And about the hiatus. It will take place from March 16th-April 12th. 🙁 I don't know the reasons, but I guess they need time to film the new episodes. Now they're filming episode 17 and Lea Michele left to NY to film her new film "New Year's Eve" which is probably the sequel of "Valentine's Day". 🙂

Yup, I know, you told me
they're ENDGAME!

Yeah, New Year's Eve is a sequel of V Day 🙂

In these past few eps, I would prefer Quinn not to use her mouth.

Yup, Dianna is very much adorable, but Quinn is so selfish. One time she cheated, you thought she'll learn from that, but no, she cheated again. Draged Finn in it, so Finn is not very likeable at the moment either.
The only problem I have with that statement is the fact that Finn was willing to cheat so I blame him. I am not trying to sound mean but I hate when the girls are always blamed for the cheating when at times they owe noting to the girls it is their boyfriends that should stop it. I am not saying Quinn in innocent but she didn't force Finn and he kind of went after her in a way. He is always so willing to throw Rachel away at times and that is why I kind of don't ship them for the most part.

I haven't completely HATED this season, I just haven't liked it nearly as much as the first season. The first season was just SO great; every single episode of the season is incredibly funny, and it has a purpose. I feel like Season 2 has not really had much direction and a lot of episodes have been throw-away material. But whatever... It's still "Glee" so I'll still watch. 🙂

I blame both of them. But Finn didn't cheat on anyone. Quinn did.

Closing the curtain on this one guys, as it's gone over the limit. As always, please feel free to start a new one.

🙂
