I feel really terrible for Chord about the discussions of his lips, it's definitely going way to far. This is still a real human being. Although I guess he is getting paid a lot of money for it, and I guess it's much the same as the people that get cast to play nerds. His lips aren't that strange to be honest, I wouldn't say no them meeting my own actually 😉
Honestly, sometimes I really wonder what they are doing with the Lauren character. Just as I started to actually like her a little bit she becomes a total cow again. Her behaviour was not beautiful, and when you pair that with her not so typically attractive exterior it just leaves me wanting to ask the Glee writers just what they are getting at.

Also, just wanted to point out that Quinn deciding to live a healthier, more active lifestyle is a good thing, not a bad thing. She started exercising, this is good. She started eating better, this is good. She started putting some pride into how she looks, this is good. I don't really understand why Glee keep trying to push the message that being obese is a valid lifestyle choice if you want to be happy. It isn't. People that are obese due to their own choices (over eating and no exercise) should not be role models for an already obese country like America.

I definitely see why you think Finn is overpowering Quinn, and I do kind of agree. But I think we are just so used to hearing him sing with Rachel, who has an incredibly powerful voice and who at times, overpowers his. This is a different kind of duet than Finchel has ever done, imo. Finn is singing melody the entire time, with Quinn harmonizing, so his voice is supposed to be slightly louder than hers. Usually when Finn and Rachel sing together, they share the melody, but this was just a different type of song. Anyway, I like it but I can understand why not everyone would. 🙂

I don't really see her taking anything personally, but as a fan I'm just slightly bothered. That's not the biggest issue I have with this though. Yes it is all starting to make sense, but i think on some level I will always be a little bit bothered by the fact that everything we thought we knew about Quinn and her past - we didn't. Still, this story leaves a lot of room for growth and development, as well as Quinn confronting other insecurities, so I really hope we get some of that.

It's good to be at a healthy weight, but that wasn't her goal in all of this. Plus, the nose job did nothing to help her become healthier. I wish I have her courage and determination. But, she probably changed herself from the inside. She was probably a beautiful girl from the inside, had an awesome personality. I wish she stops acting like HBIC, and starts acting like a normal girl, like the girls she knows to be from time to time. I just want her to be beautiful from the inside as is she from the outside.

I loved the episode, really enjoying the representation of gay teens, however I don't understand why the lyrics no matter gay straight or bi were quickly snipped from born this way on the final performance, made no sense since sexuality was pretty much a common thread throughout the whole episode. Other than that it was great, loving Emma finally coming to terms with her ocd.

But I think Naya did better on other songs she has sung. Her voice suits something like Valerie. If the scene when she sings is great, I'll definitely fall in love with it.

Yeah, I actually loved Finn in this episode. He was so encouraging to Rachel, but also there to comfort Quinn when he was the only person she had to turn to. I'm starting to feel really bad for Finn, because I truly think he's really torn up inside. It's obvious that he has love for Rachel, and he comes off as a terrible person for keeping Quinn hanging on all this time. But I really do think he still loves Quinn, at least in some way. I think he loves her more like a close friend than a girlfriend, but nonetheless he's afraid of not having her in his life, which is understandable. I think a part of him will always love Quinn, you know the first love thing and all (kind of like Bangel, imo). Anyway, yeah i used to kind of hate Finn for putting Quinn and Rachel through this rollercoaster of emotions, but I think I kind of see where he's coming from now. I still think he needs to let Quinn go, though. Or maybe it would be better if she were to wise up to all of this and set him free.. hmm... Well, I suppose we are getting that breakup in the next few episodes, so i'll soon find out. I just hope it's not too messy. 🙁

Quinn got the beauty she always wanted, and the confidence. But did she sacrifice her inner beauty for outer beauty? I don't know. We definitely see some inner beauty shining through in season 1 and now parts of season 2, but there is still that b*tchyness that seems to linger and come out sporadically. And about the confidence, she may have had it for a while, but lately we've been starting to see that she is still painfully insecure, in spite of the changes. The more I try to analyze this whole thing, the more confused I get! lol. I'm just going to try to move forward form this and see what kinds of development it leads to.

I totally get what you're trying to say, and I think I kind of agree. Like I said above, the more I think about this storyline, the more confused I get, and my opinions just keep changing. lol. As far as the right reasons... What I meant by that was that the right reason to lose weight is to become healthier. But for Quinn, it was about hating the way she looked and wanting to fit in. I'm not saying I wouldn't have felt the exact same way if I was in her shoes (because I'm sure I would have), but that doesn't mean it's a healthy mindset. Self-hatred is what leads to eating disorders and depression, and all sorts of problems. Quinn was able to make it through and change who she was somewhat successfully, but for so many people it doesn't happen like that. And I would argue that her story isn't really a complete success. She may have attained the beauty, but she's nowhere near okay with who she is, and I think she is more broken now than ever before. I don't know, I guess it's just hard for me to try provide an adequate explanation for Quinn's actions, because i'm still so shocked by all of this, and it still seems out of character and difficult to believe. YES to this whole paragraph. It's a really great moment for them as far as friendship goes, but it's also great for them individually as well. I kind of agree with the person who wrote that tumblr post, that although both girls had involvement in "Get It Right" (Quinn was more or less the inspiration) and "I Feel Pretty / Unpretty," in a way, GIR is Rachel's song and IFP/U is Quinn's. It's obvious that GIR is Rachel's song, but although the duet starts out being about Rachel's nose job, it quickly becomes about how insecure Quinn is. And I think the realization is hitting her throughout the song, just as it is hitting us. And just after they finish singing and exchange those heartbreaking looks, to me Quinn's face is saying, "This isn't just about a nose job anymore." That face gets me every time I watch it. 🙁 Just my take on it, make of it what you will. 🙂

Don't Stop is awesome! Chord and Dianna sound awesome together, and the song is just a really cool song. Personally, I love when Dianna sings, so I'm just absolutely over the moon right now at the the fact that we are getting three duets from her in the space of two episodes. :heart: Like seriously, they ignore Quinn for most of the season and now all of a sudden everything is about her. It's a Quinn overload! 😱 But I wouldn't dare complain. :heart: I actually really like Songbird! While I love her voice when she's belting it out, this is a nice change and I find it soothing.

I'm not really sure that Quinn is ready for that, or how much it would affect the story and stuff, but I guess i've always had this vision in my mind of Quinn reconnecting with Beth. Shelby doesn't need to die though, I would be happy just to see Quinn and Puck visit Beth even one time. But if Shelby died, that would be a positive spin to it, for me. I hope it's not Carol. 🙁 I still think it's Becky, although I don't really see a reason for killing her. I feel like if they are going to use the sudden death right before Nationals storyline this season instead of next season, it needs to be a really impactful death. Not that the kids didn't like Becky, but they just didn't have a lot of interaction with her.

Awww. She's so sweet. :heart: Overall, I think the whole Glee cast is sweet. I've heard a lot of rumors how they hate each other, but they're all denying it, saying that's the most apsurd thing they ever heard. I belive them.

No, she's not real. Clearly she's an angel sent from heaven to bring light and happiness to the world. :heart: haha but really, she's so nice! I think if I were her I would have been really freaked out by some of those fans who were like crying and stuff. But she couldn't have been sweeter, and she even teared up when she was talking to that one girl who was apologizing for giving her a letter. I guess by now she's probably used to people falling all over themselves for her. ^_^ I'm just always so blown away by the fact that not only is she incredibly talented and beautiful, but she also has a heart of gold. :heart: It's funny, I saw an interview once with her and Lea, it was during early season 1, and they were talking about Kristen Chenowith. They were going on and on about how talented Kristen is, and then Dianna said something like, "And she's such a wonderful, lovely person, on top of it all." Regarding the song I mentioned that I thought would be good for Quick, i'm not so sure now, because apparently it is going to be in the Prom episode. 🙁 So I don't see how it would work for Quick unless Shelby comes back into town to see Rachel go to Prom? I don't know. I really thought we would see Beth during nationals though, because why else would the writers mention that she and Shelby had moved to New York? I don't know, I still have hope, but I'm starting to think we might not get our Quick/Beth reunion. 🙁 But seriously, can Quick at least talk about everything that happened? And I don't belive all those rumors about Lea Michele. If she's bff with Di and Jon who are so nice, I belive them when they say she's nice.
I think we could see Shelby in Nationals. I mean, it is finale, and they never told us where they went. Although, she pointed out she wants to live somewhere quiet, you never know. Or maybe they'll just come to visit. I hope we'll get to see them, because they totally deserve it.
I finally watched this episode it was a good one.
I felt really bad for Emma in this episode. I have OCD and anxiety it isn't easy so I really felt bad for her.
I felt bad for Quinn but I didn't hate Lauren for what she did I mean she may have taken it to far but Quinn was the one who called her a joke and said now its personal. I am glad they made up though. Puck had me laughing this episode but he always does.
I was so glad to hear Chris sing he has an amazing voice I really love it.
I am noticing that I don't really like Rachel lol, I think that is why I could miss episodes and not care at times.
I love Britanna? Hope I said it right. They are growing on me.
Does Naya have a nose job? I always thought she did so I was like okay when they brought it up kind of bad to be preaching if she does.
Only Brittany can get away with that spelling.
