Glee 4

I totally agree with this. As much as I love Kurt, I don't feel like they're doing a good job on the show of showing that being gay is normal and totally acceptable. By making him so flamboyant and out there, I think they're making people think that most gay people are very in-your-face, and not a lot of people are comfortable with this kind of thing, so it's only making homophobia worse for some.

But it's not as though Kurt is the only gay guy on the show. The show has "normal" gay guys as well. I think that they're creating variety. There are people who fit the stereotype, and there are people who don't. I think that both should be represented.

As for making homophobia worse for some... Haters gon' hate. 😉

PrincessBuffy16 agrees: Y U NO FINCHELY ORY? YYYYYYYYYY?

Well, I don't dislike it. I just don't think that it's very interesting. *shrug*

Wait for season 3 ;) *hopes up*
I just watched this episode and I really loved the Sam/Mercedes moments! The hug made me excited then that ending. 🙂 I really adore them and out of all the couples love them.

I am shocked they didn't place but then I am not that kiss was awkward and kind of unnecessary but oh well. I do think Sunshine's team was better though.

I love Quinn's haircut it is so cute.

Santana and Brittany moment was cute as well and the moments between them and Quinn.

LOL I always laugh when Santana starts talking about her "hood"

*yawn* Oh, what was that? It's over? Sorry, I was to busy catching up on my beauty sleep. Okay, I like Glee. I find it entertaining, I love the characters, I love the controversy. This episode though? Boring and kind of embarassing.

They did not take advantage of being in New York much at all and the only scenes they did have in New York made me cringe. Especially where they all start singing New York, New York. Oh, and Artie and his wheelchair getting on top of the fountain... Uhhh... How did they manage that?! Stupid. Breakfast at Tiffanys was a nice touch though. They should make Kurt wear stunning suits and cologne model hair more often. He looked stunning, and it is probably the first time I've thought he seemed good looking.

Which brings me to Kurt and Rachel, one of the things of recent times that I am absolutely loving. Their friendship seems natural and believable, and I'm really enjoying watching these two together. It should have happened sooner.

Finchel is great, but I'm getting a bit bored of the 'will they, won't they' game the writers are playing.

I'm so happy Mike and Tina are still together, it makes me so happy that the Glee writers are allowing the audience to have a stable couple, it's nice to be reminded that not everything is heartbreak and cheating.

I'm a bit disappointed that they're letting the Santana in the closet thing linger on for so long, it's time for her to come out. Also I feel like it's time to start exploring Brittany as more than just a one line comedy character. Her little scene where Santana asks how she got so smart was fantastic, I want to see more of it! I want to see her represent a genuinely bi sexual young girl without the dumb blonde thing being so ingrained in her character.

The original songs were terrible. I found them dull, yet over the top at the same time. I don't understand why they say that nationals is 2 years in the making yet they didn't start working on their routine or songs till the day before hand. And why didn't they redo the original songs that they did at sectionals? They were clearly successful because they won with them.

Sunshine is boring, but good on Rachel for growing another stage in her personality and understanding that sometimes being a good person is more important then being a successful person. It somehow reminded me of bring it on where she says 'to be the best, we have to compete with the best'.

Sam and Mercedes is cute, but I'm unsure why they are trying to cover it up?

Santana said she had razor blades in her hair, but I'm convinced that Quinn does to, she clearly became a much nicer, calmer person with her hair cut. She even smiled when Finchel walked into the choir room reunited.

Where was Sue? Maybe taking some time off to get over her sisters death?

All in all - a pretty disappointing episode, especially for a finale. It fell flat and there were to many plot holes and inconsistences for this to work for me.

Bring on Season 3 though - the last season of the gang!

This episode was a MAJOR major disappointment.

I feel like there was too much going on cramped into one episode....there was at least three episodes worth of plotlines and issues that needed to be played out before the show just cut off.

Will changing his mind so quickly was ridiculous. Quinn going from frantically trying to ruin nationals to cutting her hair and being all better was stupid. Oh and the number one thing that really bothered me....Sam and Mercedes. Just no. No. Sam needs to be with anyone except Mercedes...(I'm just not a fan of her....and Sam is my fav male on the show)

All in all, bad episode and a waste of 2.99 on iTunes lol. Hopefully The writing in Season 3 improves because this is getting sad and it feels like a waste of time now when I sit down and watch an episode.

Sorry if I upset anyone for those comments...I still enjoy the show and it's still on my top five I just feel it has so much more potential than the writers are giving us.

Oh and PS...what happened with Will & Emma...they should have cleared that up too ;(

Not sure how I feel about this episode, some parts I loved, whilst other parts I really wasn't keen on. I think they should've made the episode longer, like Born This Way, there seemed to be lots going on, too much going on.

One thing I will say is that I'm not keen on Samcedes, I found them cute in Prom, but I just can't see it happening. I liked them when it was more of an if-they-got-together scenario.

Yeah, I was annoyed that Emma only appeared at the end, but I heard they had to cut 20 minutes of the episode, and they cut some Wemma, Quinn and Brittana moments, which I'm hoping to see on the DVD.

Also slightly annoyed by the fact that the Karofsky storyline isn't finished yet, it's taken up the whole season and I'm bored of it now, and they're continuing it into season 3? Great.

What? They cut all the interesting scenes and kept some boring scenes?

TOTALLY, totally agree.... I was left staring at my TV going "Really? That's it??"
I didn't care much for this episode. There were some good moments, such as Kurt and Rachel having breakfast at Tiffany's and then sneaking into the theater to sing the song from "Wicked"; that was awesome. 🙂
But most of the episode was really disappointing and unbelievable, and I'm with Cait. If Nationals was that important, I find it hard to believe they would wait til the day before to start writing their songs (which I didn't like nearly as much as the ones from sectionals). Also, after a whole season of pining for Finn, how the hell are we supposed to believe Rachel would really react the way she did in New York? And speaking of New York, I thought they would make much better use of the city for locations and things. I was also expecting a 2-hour episode.... Whatever.
I love Quinn's hair, though; it's definitely adorable.
I really wanted Santana to come out and admit that she's a lesbian. I didn't think we got any resolution there and that sucked.
I'm going to watch Season 3, but I have to say that I'm nowhere near as excited about this show as I was before.

You know your really right. I found it very unbelievable that Rachel would not automatically go with Finn. I mean she was willing to get a nose job for him! I mean it is good but it is was very out of character.

I still don't get why Santana hasn't come out if next season is their last you think they would want to bring it back and really make it good but I don't see how they are going to go on with the Jock don't know to spell his names storyline as well.

I thought Nationals was what they were working toward from the start? I still didn't see all of season 1 yet but if so it was weird they didn't do their songs ahead of time. I was so excited for little moments that I realized later on season finale wise it wasn't so good.

I am excited for some things for season three I don't know if I will watch all season though. This show is still my least favorite out of all the other new ones I watch after the evaluation.

Glee Live Tour 2011 - anyone been?

Hi all from what I gather there are a few gleeks here so I was wondering if anyone had been/is going to the Glee Live Tour? I ask because I'm currently in London after seeing it last night and i thought it was fab 🙂 what were your thoughts?

i wanted to go when they were in Philly a few weeks ago but i had already spent my share of concert money for the summer on t swift front row seats so i opted out. ;(

So apparently Chord Overstreet is not returning as Sam next season. What do you guys think? I thought Sam had a lot of potential in the episode Duets but then they got him with Quinn way too quickly and didn't allow for any character development for either of them. Then I think the writers didn't know what to do with him after that. Still I'm a little sad and surprised to see him go.

This sucks I really liked him and I like what they could have done with him this next season.
