GLEE!

I will probably watch it, but don't know if I get hooked to it, but I'll give it a chance.

Ryan said this new characters like Charice, Sam, Blane are test subjects, to see how people react to them, and since people like them, he thinks it's a green light for what's he planing, and I'm like, well sure people like them because they're refreshing but old cast is still there!

I haven't been that excited about the songs in the last few episodes of Glee... But I did really love Kurt singing Don't Cry For Me Argentina. I cried a little bit, heh..

That was a great performance.
Where the hell is Charice, btw?? They made this HUGE deal about her being on the show and now she's nowhere to be found.

I think they tossed some main story lines they had early this season. Supposedly Sam was suppose to be Kurt's bf not Blaine.

I really enjoyed season one, this season has just been bleh for me. There hasn't been any growth for the characters, if fact I think it's kind of the opposite, Rachel and Finn and a few others seem to have all their negative qualities exasurbated and they're not much more than characatures. And I really don't get the need to put Kurt on a pedastle. I get that the audience is mostly gay men, but all this pandering is just obnoxious to me and I'm a gay man.

Karma for using the word "characature" !

1. The audience is not mostly gay men
2. The pandering is obnoxious. They're doing it because "Kurt makes a statement." I think it's BS. They're trying to cash in on their gay character. So much emphasis is placed on him this season BECAUSE he's gay and as a gay person, that does NOT scream equality. There are a lot of idiots out there who are like "Oh! Glee is so good for the LGBT people because of it's pro-gay messages!" But I'm of the opinion that Glee is starting to THINK it's good for us and really just be another example of setting us out from the pack. We're different. The message of Glee used to be everyone's the same (in terms of worth and stuff)... we're all humans... we're all equal. Equality used to be a message pushed a lot in Glee. But now with the big deal they've made about Kurt, I fear they're saying "everyone's the same, except gay people. They're different." And even if they mean good different... it's still different. Also the making Kurt fit the stereotypical gay male in EVERY single way is not working for the LGBT people either. In my opinion, the makers of Glee should just stop trying to help.

I've see and heard a lot of "Glee sucks now" going on. Do you think it really does suck as a TV show now or do you think it sucks compared to the first half of season 1. I got this really interesting idea that Glee is actually now a mediocre show but I say it sucks because I remember the first half of season 1 which never left me feeling unsatisfied. Do you think Glee has passed it's prime?

Really? Got anything to support that?

Lol no not really. I'm part of another forum that is mostly gay men and there are thousands of new threads made each day and the amount of Glee related threads is unbelievable, but I was totally just assuming, I guess the women demographic is probably quite large too. It's kind of an adultish show for the kids. I tried to look up the stats, but the site I found was just confusing. I guess I should have worded it as a lot of gay men and not most or whatever, that wasn't the point I was trying to make.

Yeah, I agree.

I also don't really understand the double standard they are setting with different people. This whole arc has been about how horrible he's treated and it's not ok. But it's a little hypocritital for them of all people to push this message when they're constantly exploiting sterotypes for laughs. The biggest example I can think of was when the white male teacher had one of his students listed as other asian. And this is supposed to be the good guy. It's a joke yeah, but you shouldn't be able to make all these jokes and then hop up on a soap box to preach about how wrong discrimination is.

I totally agree with this, I don't think sucks in general terms of TV, but I think it's been a bit lackluster compared to itself last season.

And didn't Charice end up joining Vocal Adrenalin, so I'd say we wont see her till the next round part since ND weren't up against VA in this part of the competition.

Also I don't think Sam was ever supposed to be dating Kurt, the two actors were cast around the same time and people thought he was the one cast as Kurts boyfriend.

For me lack luster isn't strong enough. The last few episodes I've ended up skipping through parts and I'm a real nerd when it comes to tv, I almost never skip through. And it's weird, because in season one I really did eat the episodes up and re-watched them online and downloaded the music. Personally season two is a flop for me. It's like a lot of the character's heart has been taken out. I really wanted these people to win, and now I'm just filled with apathy towards them. They've all become so selfish and self serving.

I do skip passages too now!
Ok, I just tried to watch again...

Story of Us is about John Mayer at the CMA 2010 awards... Uh duh. She says that in the hidden message! Duh. God, you'd think if this guy was going to yap about Taylor he'd have some sort of basic knowledge.

On a slightly more on topic note... I agree whole heartedly with everything he said about season 1... but I'd probably say the first half season 1 was amazing. The second half of season 1 started the annoying 40 minute music videos but it wasn't as bad because there was still some heart. Now it's gone completely down the drain and I think the success of season 1 (first half) went to the writers heads... then the success of the Gaga and Madonna episodes started all these ridiculous tribute episodes. And now that's all they're doing.

That's why I said I agree with him (only) about Glee. ^_^
That's why I thought it was Sue, I assumed she has sold all the gift and she had enough money with them. It's a big mystery now!
