I don't think there is anyone here whose life hasn't been touched by drugs in some way, me included. I have lost family and friends to them. I can understand where you are coming from when you say people who do drugs are stupid but quite frankly saying that changes nothing. This topic doesn't exist in the absoultes that you are dealing with. Drug use isn't black or white, it's layered and complex. It's not something that I respect or believe in but I can empathise with those who suffer. I don't think people set out to OD and quite frankly we have no idea what troubles had fallen at Glenn Quinn's door. We don't no what sorrow consumed him or what joys he known. Simply put, none of us are in any position to judge him or anyone famous who takes drugs. All we can to do is feel the loss of his presence and send our best wishes to him and his family.
I'd ask everyone to keep that in mind when they post. You may not understand or condone the life Glenn Quinn lived but please be mindful of people here who may be struggling themselves or has someone dear to them that needs help. Everyone has a cross to bear and a story to tell. It's not for us to say who is an 'idiot' and who is not. You don't have to understand or agree with what people do but I do ask that you at least be respectful.
