Glorificus - in torture, insanity and shoes does her power lie.

But that doesn't mean she can't have some rather..awkward moments in the series with many characters.

If you're unfamiliar with a site called TVTropes, it has what is called Ho Yay and Foe Yay. Both describe scenes and dialogue with possible romantic/sexual subtext to them. Glory has a lot of this with many different characters.

To quote the entry
Glory induced this way too much, to almost Depraved Bisexual levels. Particularly with Dawn: I mean, changing in front of the girl, playing with her hair, accusing her of "trying to get a peek at [my] unmentionables?" Just the start.

* Dawn/Glory goes both ways:

Dawn: All of a sudden Glory's standing right there in front of us, all skanky and blonde and thinkin' she's all that just 'cause some bumpy heads kiss her stinky feet ... (pauses, very quietly) She does have nice feet.

* Glory talks about having "girl time" with and says to her "lets have big girl fun"
* She also talks about having "girl time" with Tara and licks her hand in a sensual way
* Not to mention Glory's response to Buffy breaking a date with her male alter-ego: "She turned us down?"

One of the things they don't mention that I always remember is Glory asking dawn "Oh, [Ben] wasn't being naughty, was he?"

I think we can all agree that Glory is completely cracked...so how about some Crack Pairings with her?

We've seen the evidence for Glory/Dawn but there's a whole wide world of other possibilities. Your imagination is the limit.
 
I think it would be awesome to see Glory and Caleb pair up for some unknown reason. If the first had asked Caleb to work with Glory as they both had the same goal Caleb would totally do it.

I just think woman hating Caleb would find Glory so frustrating, but she would definitely be able to beat him to a pulp. We all know that to bad guys fighting is like foreplay, so it would be very interesting to see.

I can't picture Glory with a nice, or good, person at all. Sorry just can't.

Gawn (Dlory? Dory?) is definitely one of the stranger ships I've heard argued, and that's saying something!

Glaleb eh? An interesting notion. She would seem to embody everything he so detests about women too.

Not that it matters since he'd have to suck it up and lick her foot if she commanded it. XD

As for Glory/Dawn, it's about as possible as any ship with Glory as far as I can see. Glory is possibly the most selfish person in the series (quite an achievement) and she really showed no real sense of compassion or caring for...anyone unless they could get her something.
Glory/Dawn is as likely as anything else simply for the fact Glory "wants" Dawn in a manner of speaking which means she wouldn't just crush her head which is what I think Glory would do to most potential lovers.

Also I think Dory is a cute shipping name. ^^
 
lol, I really couldn't imagine Glory in any ship. She's got too big an ego for that in my opinion. In my world Glory wouldn't have a partner... she would have slaves or I suppose concubines if you will.

But that's interesting those points about her and Dawn, I've never even thought about it in that way before.
 
The first pairing that comes to my mind would be Glory and Drusilla. They would be the perfect match made in Sunnyhell. Also, Mayor Wilkins would be a pretty good match, especially in his giant worm persona if Glorificus' actual form is anything like Illyria's. If so, they would be a perfect match.

I agree on both counts!
I always thought Caleb and Glory would have made a nice match... I don't know why, but for some reason I think Glory would have turned Caleb on. 😉

From Blood Ties:
DAWN: Is it about that weird girl that came to the house?
BUFFY: Glory. And no it's not.
DAWN: Like you'd tell me anyway. Dawn's too young and Dawn's too delicate.
BUFFY: Right. A young delicate pain in my butt.
DAWN: I just think you're freakin' out 'cause you have to fight someone prettier than you.

Now that's two comments Dawn makes about Glory's beauty. Love is in the air.

Okay maybe not. But that's why it's a crack pairing.
