Glory vs. Illyria vs. Jasmine

These three lovely ladies are compared quite often in fandom. For their characters, for their looks, but mostly for their power.

The winner will be crowned as the strongest antagonist in the series.

This is just going by the TV series, mind. Don't read the comics so not sure if Illyria got some new powers there or not.
 
Jasmine was more of a lover than a fighter. Her power consisted mostly of being able to influence others (humans) into doing her bidding.

Glory was a fighter, but she was also insane. No subtlety, no strategy, just bull her way through whatever or whoever got in the way of whatever she wanted.

Illyria was a true warrior, a leader of armies, a conqueror of entire dimensions. She had the skill, power, and, most importantly, the intelligence to control a fight.

Illyria would be the best fighter, no contest.

Jasmine got taken down by a punch in the back of the head.

Glory could be killed as a human.

Illyria for me but Jasmine had control over people she could make an army out of every human on earth thats like 7billion people. Glory was strong but not right in the head but I think she would give Illyria a run for her money.
 
Umm, everyone could win, IMO. They just need a good plan for themselves.

Like Dancing Man said, Jasmine can make an army from people who loves her. But Glory or Illyria wouldn't get tired of fighting them.
Glory is fast and strong. See her run in Spiral? But her weakness is Ben.
I think Illyria is physically stronger than Glory. She can knock tough demons with one blow. But after she got beaten up by Hamilton, I'm not sure anymore.
The winner would be Glory or Illyria. 🙂

Lol, you should have put Dark Willow in this thread too. 😛
 
Her power is all in magic, though. And we saw what a dark mage could do against Illyria....

And even when she amped her strength she was only around Buffy's level. Glory and Illyria are several times Buffy's superior in strength.
 
I'd say either Jasmine or Illyria. Jasmine becasue, like many others have said, can get people to do what she wants them to do, and Illyria due to brute force.
Glory's only advantage, IMO, is the fact that she's insane, thus VERY dangerous. Like the Joker, only sexy.
 
Glory by far. She showed strength the other two didn't come near. Put it this way, Glory would kick Hamiltons ass into the middle of next week. Take away Illyrias time slow thing and she's kinda lame. Jasmine although strong, was not really about the fighting.

Also, Illyria said she "was god to a god." This means that she easily could've been a god that Glory worshipped.
 
Illyria when? Full-Powered in a Shell, De-Powered, or True-Form?

Illyria (True Form) > Illyria (Full-Powered in Shell) > Glory > Illyria (De-Powered) > Jasmine

Dark Willow's the only one that could match Illyria, imo... I mean, come on, even in her middle-form she outmatched Angel AND Spike together! Think about how quickly Buffy would be dead if she took those two on at the same time!
 
Well Glory on BtVS seemed invincible to Buffy, so much that she and the others fleed from her.

On the other hand, when Illyria could slow time, it was a pretty big deal... but how do we know if that would affect Glory and Jasmine? Didn't Angel just stop the time slow effect with some magic jewel? Meh. As for Jasmine, we didn't really see how strong she was. Connor killed her with one punch... I mean, come on!

So in conclusion i'm gonna go with Glory, since she unlike the two others, made me feel the heroes had no chance against her(until the last episode at least).
 
Each of them at their best illyria would clearly be the winner. Can anyone say TIME MANIPULATION?! She would shred jasmines army. Glory would be a long battle but in the end Glory would get smashed. Dark Willow could probably f*^k some S#!t up though.

Buffy + Spike + Willow + Giles + Xander = Dead Glory
Angel + Spike + Wes + Gunn + Harmony = Un-phased Illyria...
