hmm... I can't imagine she got payed, but if then only a really small pay
besides she is only a student and she doesn't work to get money but because she really loves teaching computerstuff (even when she was nervous at the start because of all the students)

Getting paid I doubt. But don´t you get credits of some sorts, that can be good to have in the future, for different things in american schools? I´d guess she´d get some for this.

Really there's just about no way they'd have had her teach that class as long as she did. Although maybe Sunnydale has trouble attracting qualified teachers to the area due to....all the death.

Sunnydale definitley gets let off in terms of things like that. At that school we've lost a Janitor, About four teachers, two headmasters had a cafeteria full of snakes and Praying Mantis Teachers. And countless others!

I'd say we can let them off. 😀

Willow being a substitute for a high school class always bothered the heck out of me. There's no WAY a school would ever do that. If they couldn't find a real substitute, the class would have been canceled. Allowing a 16- or 17-year-old to teach was just, GAH. So unrealistic.

When I was in high school, my Spanish and computer teachers always left me in charge if they had a teacher's meeting at the time. The principal even okay-ed it. Of course it wasn't for as long as Willow had substituted for, but it still happens.
But Willow must have been extremely ahead of her game, and the school's game. After all she was also used to tutor Percy. Which denotes that not only is Willow extremely trusted but they knew she could relate to the class. Which works obviously as we see she gets a pretty positive reception from the class.

No, I'm almost positive she didn't get paid. Seriously. Snyder? Paying someone by choice? Highly doubtful.

Okay, a class here and there is different.
I didn't think it was too odd the first time Ms. Calendar asked Willow to keep an eye on the class for her in case she was late, for example.
But looking after a class here and there, and filling in full-time for a teacher who's dead, are two completely different things.

not one of my faves, but it's watchable.

The creature suits looked good, plus you get Xander in a Speedo.:teeth:
