i vote for connor/cordy. i hated that story line.........and whats even worse is that was the main story line for a long time.

Whats your take on Xander/Buffy?

well...you may agree with this or this may be the only other opinion we differ on, but i think its more like my feelings on xander/willow. i had nothing particular against them in season 1. it created that whole 'willow loves xander, but xander loves buffy, but buffy loves angel' quadrangle. however, i think their love is more that of friends, and i prefer them that way. i wouldnt put it past myself to change my mind about this if it were to happen in the comics or something and be done well, but i dont think id like it if they became a couple.

I loved Tillow, so it was a real slap in the face to see Willow with somebody else so soon. And I never got the feeling that Willow loved Kennedy like she loved Tara and I don't think she ever will love Kennedy.

Cordy/Angel
They're friends for years and then, all of a sudden, they like each other? Not buying it. They had chemistry as friends, not lovers.

I voted Spike/Buffy (Spuffy) purely based on the hours of arguing i've had to do as a BA fan, and also attempted rape should never lead to any kind of relationship other than the defendant/prosecution type, also he's a big ol' copycat with a soul!

But a close second are the equally cringe-worthy/vomitastic ships of
- Cordy/Connor - mommy issues anyone?
- Giles/Buffy - nonono oh and um no - he slept with her mom, twice!
- Kennedy/Willow - that was about as realistic as putting two sticks next to each other and saying make a spark - it aint happening.
- Fred/Gunn - again with the no chemistry *sigh* plus I love me some Wesley and she might have kept him sane

everything else i can pretty much live with 🙂

I voted Cangel, because Cordy and Angel were just wrong... do I have to give a reason?? It's just gross and eww, and really betraying Buffy... I mean, come on, its Cordelia!

I also hated Cordy and Connor... it was kinda almost like incest, I mean, I know, not blood related, but one minute you're changing nappies/diapers the next you're shagging... eww.

Buffy and Faith is just wrong... i dislike reading fics that pair them together because it's never the sort of thing that would have happened while the Buffyverse was on tv, so I think that pairing just ruins the whole thing... also, I dont know why, but I find it kinda icky, what with having the same powers, and making them decended from this great heritage- a little bit incest maybe?? (I know they're not actually related, but thats just the feeling I get)

I hate Willow and Kennedy... mostly because Kennedy should just die.... she's so unbelievably irritating and the opposite in every way to Tara- it doesnt make sense to me.

Dawn and Xander- the same as Cordy and Connor, kinda weird and a little incesty-like.

Buffy and Satsu- I just dont like the whole 'is she lesbian/bisexual/experimenting' twist. I think someone said in another thread once before, that its not the sort of thing that would ever have happened in the tv programme, yet because its in comic, people are expected to accept it... I just don't.

Lol, I knew I should've excluded my favourite ships from the poll 😛

Pls give reasons for Cangel being wrong, cause I for once think they were great. And it wasn't like betraying Buffy, after all she was having relationships with Riley and Spike. Cordelia and Angel just grew together over time, that's a nice change for once, after for instance Buffy and Angel just sort of happened out of nowhere.
And Fuffy...maybe it WAS wrong but it was pretty hot and I still believe it might have happened. Okay, maybe not now anymore, but maybe in season3. They had this chemistry and heat and this could've easily turned into something else. I mean, they were young. Well the moment has probably past, especially since Willow already turned gay (that's the worst kind of fanfiction btw, the one where everyone turns gay all of a sudden). And I partly agree on the fanfiction part, but that's not necessarily the case. Of course some are so unbelievably out of character, but others are quite good.

Okay, just felt like defending my ships, hehe.

I dislike Cangel for the same basic reasons I dislike Kennedy/Willow. It felt forced to me. I don't know if the actors just couldn't get any chemistry going or if it really was just so out of character that it wasn't possible, but I didn't see any real sparkage in the romance department.

I dislike Willow/Kennedy, Connor/Cordy and Angel/Cordy. In my opinion all of them are just wrong and we should have never been subjected to seeing them happen.

I think the majority of people will understand my hatred of the first two ships, but the reason why I can't stand Cangel is due to the fact that I have always viewed their relationship as strictly platontic, and when they started to develop feelings for each other it just really really annoyed me. It was as if they were trying to quickly find a new love interest for Angel, making it feel extremely forced (like Blondie Bear said). This ship just does not sit right with me.

I am also not fond of Fred/Gunn, Wesley is the only man for Fred 😀

Got to be Connor/Cordelia, way ahead of any of the others on the hate scale for moi.

Then I'd probably say Willow/Kennedy.... because Kennedy was just ...well she wasn't Tara or Oz, I don't know I think it's probably because I didn't have time to see her full 'potential' - maybe she would of grown on me if we'd have gotten another season and her character got to develop more.
