Not sure. What's a long time...? These took 7-8 hrs each - to round up all the right photos, then make the finals. I like to finish stuff in one sitting if at all possible. My ass was getting tired, heh.

You must have the patience of a saint to sit for that long 😀 Kudos to you though, because it sure as hell pays off - you can see it in every piece that you do!

I was awed by the first Slayer one you posted, then wowed by The Witch one, and now, well, I'm stunned by The Rogue piece.

They have a real 'dream like' quality to them, and considering you say you never know quite what to do with Faith, I think you did an excellent job with her in that piece! 🙂

I remember going to a talk an artist gave on one of his pieces. It was astounding. Just an image of this old lady praying the rosary. Gorgeous coloring...sort of pointalistic, like Seurat maybe...tiny little dots. But realistic, great expression. Someone asked him how long it took him to finish. "About eight months". I'm assuming he got up and walked around once in awhile, lol.
 
*g* Eight months..... I'd never make a real artist, I really don't have any kind of patience at all these days.. They say patience is a virtue but it sure as hell isn't one of mine 'lol'

My husband does artwork like that, loads of teeny tiny dots, only in black and white mind, he's got some pieces hanging around that he still hasn't finished to this day. Unfortunately having the 5 kids he doesn't find the time any more to sit around for long, unless it's at the PC 'lol' 🙂

I love the Faith one! And the use of Kakistos! No one ever seem to use him but he is so crucial! I really like that wp!!! :silly:

One could write a wild little story off that image, couldn't he, or she?

Like, where are they, and why are they all together? Why are they dressed up? What just walked though the door to cause those 2 different reactions from Spike and Buffy. What's behind the the curtain, and why is Angel more interested in that? I'm kind of wishful thinking Season 8. Fun stuff. Purty too...kind of brilliant, really.

Oh wait GB...I've got it. 🙂 There's this mysterious convention that's been called, and all the guardians of Earth's mystic reality from around the globe are attending. Spike, Angel, and Buffy meet up at the lounge on the top floor. Who just walked through the door? The Immortal. What does Angel see? Dunno. But it's the key to solving the mystery.
