Good "Bad" Episodes and Bad "Good" Episodes

Is there an episode of BtVS or AtS that you really like but is very unpopular with a lot of people?Or maybe an episode that everyone loves but it's not one of your favorites?

The one I like is Bad Eggs.I know a lot of people don't like that episode but I think it's very good.It has it's very funny moments like when Xander is about to eat the egg with that parasite thing in it.

The one that I really don't like that much is Welcome to the Hellmouth.I don't know why I don't like it too much.That doesn't include The Harvest because I really like that one.It's just that I find WTTH kinda boring.

one of my fave eps (one of the ones i forgot about in the other thread) is Beer Bad! i LOVE this ep, i just think Cave-Buffy is so funny, especially the part where she clubs Parker over the head after she saves him from the fire!! and when she falls off her chair!!

an episode i really dislike is The Body. don't get me wrong, i know that it's a wonderful piece of TV, to run for an enitre show without any music apart from the credits is a ground-breaking achievement, and i am one of the first to admit that...the ep is well made and the acting is beyond amazing (especailly from Joyce, Buffy, Dawn and Anya)
but for some reason, i just don't like the ep. maybe it's the fact that joyce is dead, or that i get that eerie feeling without the music, i don't know. i just don't like it very much...

I really like Buffy's Reptile Boy and Angel's The Ring, but people seem to hate them. Sure, they're not perfect, but they're both a lot of fun.

I liked the ring, it brought LILAH into the show! ... I really like The Girl In Question, hear its unpopular.

Me too, I also really like Willow's confrontation with Parker, and: Giles, don't make cave slayer unhappy.

I know everybody just loves Hush but personally I don't see what the fuss is about; it wasn't one of my favourites.

And I think generally people are not too fond of Primeval but I really really liked that episode!

I always liked Beer Bad. That's one of the Buffy episodes that even my boyfriend quotes sometimes... it just stuck with us. (Normally when we're talking about beer... and it being 'foamy'.) I know alot of people don't like it... but I've always found it fairly amusing.

I also like "Checkpoint" a lot. That doesn't rate very high one some all time greatest Buffy episodes ever. I just like it.

I have never liked I Only Have Eyes for You. It is the one Buffy episode that I have probably only seen twice, because I can't bring myself to watch it. I can't sit through that episode.

I'm not too fond of the Body either. It's just a bit too morbid for my tastes.

Oh and the entire Season 4 of Angel - fricken brilliant

I know some people who liked "Shadow" but I really didn't like it. There was some good bits like Spike getting caught sniffing Buffy's jumper (that was funny!) and also Joyce gets diagnosed, but there wasn't much else I liked about it.

I adore Beer Bad and Goodbye Iowa and Primeval and Superstar and Living Conditions and Harsh Light of Day and Where the Wild Things are and...well, basically, Season 4. Also the Pack is one of my faves, haven't really heard a lot of buzz about that one. It's really the first time Buffy has to deal with one of her good friends being a 'bad guy' which is a recurring theme, especially in Season 6 (duh)

One of the bigs that I don't see the big deal about is Amends. Everybody seems to loooove Amends. *shrug* I get it, you know, first appearance of the First, divine intervention for Angel, bladdy blah blah blah. I just don't care that much. After all, this is NOT the First as we'll see it later, and it doesn't mesh well with Season 7 the First. In Amends, the Bringers are conjuring the manifestations of the people Angel's killed, but in Season 7, it's the First itself that's taking this form. And yet in Amends, 'Jenny' morphs into the big -demon-face-thing, so there's not even consitency within the episode. Basically I just think it kinda...sucks. The only Christmas episode we get, and it sucks. Sigh.

I adore Doublemeat Palace. In a season which is otherwise very dark and depressing and had lost all of it's special BtVS goofiness it was exactly what I needed. People have a tendency to bash it and everything it's about, but I can't help loving "how the cow and the chickens come together" and even the Penislady is sorta amusing in her own way.

Then there's a bunch of episodes that I don't really fancy but everyone else seems. Sure Amends got it's moments, but as a whole no thank you. Same goes for Angel and even Prophecy girl. Don't get me wrong, great tv, but not the way I like my Buffy.

Is that one considered a bad episode? I always really loved it too, one of those episodes I can always watch and it never gets boring...

I'm a huge fan of all those really popular episodes (OT, why do I always accidentally type my name instead of "episodes"?)... The Body and OMWF are my all time favorites. I also love The Gift and Prophecy Girl and even Chosen.. Not Amends though.. Amends has got its wonderful scenes but it's definitely not one of my favorite episodes... But other than that.. love the "good" ones, mhm.. I'm boring that way.

I LOVE Doublemeat Palace and HATE Normal Again. I've heard people saying that Normal Again was so great, but ... I find it creepy. It really does make you wonder whether the whole buffyworld is real or not ... Well, you know what I mean. It really puts too much doubt in my mind which is why it's not one of my favorites.

Also, everyone disses season 4 (of both shows, actually) and I LOVE both of them. Evil Cordy rocks. Grant it, I HATE the Initiative ... but everything was top notch for me.

I know, the only thing I didn't like was the creapiness of Connor/Cordelia, but even that was bareable after you've discovered Cordy's newfound evilness.
