I also really love "To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. Amazing book. I just read "Jurassic Park" by Michael Cricton. It was actually a really good book. Way better (and different) than the movie.

You're right, To Kill A Mockingbird was an absolutely great book. I loved it. I had to read it for my class this past year, and I'm probably the only kid who didn't mind reading it.🙂 You all should really read Of Saints and Shadows by Christopher Golden. I'm really getting into it, and I think (since we all like BtVS and Angel) you'd all love it.

To Kill a Mockingbird was good . . . i dodnt think at the time that it was amazing but i was quite a bit younger so ill have to read it again!
You know whats amazing? Pride and Prejudice! I read it in class and loved it! the BBC video are really good too (starring colin firth)! I couldnt put the book down!

you know what. I just finished reading it yesturday and returned it back so i really dont remeber but its basically like the movie final fantasy: The spirits within.....

sorry im really short termed memory...well mostly when it comes to books anyway...i forget about them the next day...plus im not good with explaining things...
 
Of Mice and Men is reallly good; although it only took me about 40 minutes to read it, that was about 3 years ago, we had to study it for our GCSE English Literature. It's one of those books I can still remember vividly that far on. And as for the Anne of Green Gables series; well the final book, about Rilla is my favourite; I can almost quote word for word, the last scene. I really wish there had been a follow up to it ::thumb:: But my current obsession is Flambards; I'm watching the 1978 series at the moment (for the 5th time) but there was a book KM Peyton wrote after the series, which to my mind would be the best of all, but it was never amde for telly. And if any of you have seen Steven Grimes who played Mark, then you'll understand why 😉 (yes I fancy a now rather old bloke 😀 😀) But I've also just finished "The Case of Mary Bell" (as recommended by Faith 😀 and I've just started the book Interview With teh Vampire (I bought four of the books in a box set) Yes I have nothing else to do but work and read and I'm loving being able to read so much 😀
 
sorry but i love trashy love stories like mills &boon!! i know they are racy but they are good especially "mission to seduce"! also watchers guides are class and i can't wait to get started on the angel case files!! i also read some buffy fiction! but i can't resist the Big Brother biograpys! i read snow falling on cedars for aslevel it was quite goo,but a bit too descriptive, and the film with ethan hawke in it was bad! lord of the flies kinda rocks in a macarbe way!
 
Yeah, i wanna read lord of the flies but is that not the disturbing novel with all the sick weird stuff?!
I ::heart:: Big Brother, but im not sure i could be bothered with their biographies! Lol

no spike lover, i think they are really worth reading the same with te survivor ones you find out loads of stuff you wouldn't otherwise know!
 
OMG - I ::heart::d survivor! Did you mean there are ones for those guys too?! Im seriously gonna have to think about reading these . . . but im a bit worried about how far to go with my obsessions at the moment! Lol, i dont wanna start another one!

Lord of the flies wasn't a bad book, i read that when i was at school (part of my English lessons).

Mostly i read Terry Pratchett or Michael Crichton (my fave authors) now, although i'm partial to most sci-fi or fantasy books. Also love all the Anne Rice books and anything to do with the ancient mythology (Greek, Roman, Norse, etc)
 
I read all the time. One of my favorite books is 'DIVE' by Adele Griffin. And 'The View From Saturday' by E.L. Konigsburg even though t is kinda childish it's my favorite book of all time. I love reading Tamora Pierce and Diana Wynne Jones books. And 'Monster' by Walter Dean Meyers, that book was so good and the ending just haunts me. And if you really like murder mysteries, like I do, you should read this series. It's called 'The Cat Who..." series and it sounds absolutely idiotic but they're really good. There is one called 'The Cat Who Sniffed Glue' that my mother found at a garage sale and had to buy it for me. I was hooked. I really like them. Those are my book choices.
