Bargaining Part One:

Buffy: Well, she didn't appear in this episode except for the last minutes, but she broke my heart when she crawled out of her grave. Poor Buffy.

Xander: After Giles finished hugging Dawn and turned his attention to Willow, Xander walked towards Dawn and hugged her for support. Very sweet and big brotherly. Also, I admire Xander for speaking his mind, that it didn't feel right bringing Buffy back. He had argued with Willow that it wasn't right to bring Buffy back until Willow convinced him that she might be in Hell.

Willow: When she was saying goodbye to Giles. That really heart breaking the way she tried to be strong for him. Also, she was quite motherly toward Dawn.

Giles: His hugs for everybody at the airport, especially Xander, Dawn and Tara. Xander wasn't Giles' favorite, and that's very clear, he was just the annoying little boy. But the way Giles headed for a hug, only to see that Xander was going for a handshake, then Giles just pulled Xander into a hug. That's so sweet. Also, Giles' talk to Dawn, and asking her to call him whenever she needed anything, how he held her chin in than fatherly way. His hug for Tara is my favorite, it was calm and warm, the big example of a father hugging his oldest, calmest daughter, it felt sweet when you think of Tara's abusive father.

Spike: Babysitting Dawn, the fact that he stayed after Buffy's death, the fact that he considered the Scoobies some sort of a family. The Scoobies seem to accept him quite a bit, how about Giles joking with him? How sweet was that to see Spike joking with a male Scooby. How Willow felt at ease around Spike in the house while fixing the Buffybot. How Dawn trusted him.

Dawn: Her missing Buffy was so sad and tear-jerking. When she hugged the Buffybot my heart broke for her. She went through a lot with the death of her mother, then the death of her sister. I love how she trusts Spike.

Anya: Calling Xander her sweet-cookie face is so adorable, the way she threw herself in Giles' arms also was endearing, not to mention how sweet of her to suggest smelling money for Tara to calm down, because it's money that calms Anya down.

Tara: When she hugged Dawn as they went out of the airport, that was very cute. If Giles is the father figure of S6, then Tara is the mother figure.

What about you?

BUFFY Seeing her in the grave absolutely broke my heart. The panic, it was awful. Also, SMG was great as BuffyBot 'Vampires Beware!!!'

Willow Looking back on it, knowing that she was pulling her out of heaven, I can't stand Willow in this ep. She makes my blood boil. Giles got it right 'rank and arrogant'!

Xander Sometimes feel he should have done more to stop Willow, but thats not really fair cuz nothing was stopping her doing this. His BackStreet Boy obsession was interesting!!!

Giles He shouldn't have left. Simple as that. He wasn't just responsible for Buffy, he was responsible for all of them and with Buffy gone even more so, especially Dawn.I don't know what he was doing leaving!! His little fight with Anya in the magic shop was funny though.

Anya Surprised she didn't speak out more about what a hurrendouly stupid idea it all was. She normally always calls the stupid plans, and this was one of them. Other than that she was her usual hilarious self.

Tara After making such a big deal about Dawn trying to bring back Joyce, her acceptence of Willow's plan was amazing, and not in a good way.

Dawn Felt sorry for her when she went into sleep beside the Buffybot.

Spike He was sweet with Dawn and credit to JM he had this haunted look in his eyes, nicely done.

I can explain Anya and Tara. Anya doesn't care, simple as that, Anya is Xander's sheep. When Xander objected on the plan, Anya objected. When Xander agreed to go through with it, Anya agreed. As for Tara, she was blindly in love with Willow, and it's clear in After Life: When Xander told her that Spike thought Willow was using too much magic, Tara was offended and defended Willow like an extremely religious person defends his religion. To Tara, Willow does no wrong. Willow is always right. That blind love/loyalty will bite her in the ass later. Poor Tara.

BUFFY Xander His BackStreet Boy obsession was interesting!!!

Hee! I used to be a huge BSB fan in my teens.

Giles He shouldn't have left. Simple as that.

Giles always wanted to leave. I think he likes being needed, when he felt unneeded in S4, he decided to leave, until Buffy made him feel needed. Now he felt there was no need for him. He probably also wanted to see his family and interact with his fellow watchers.

But my whole point was that he was needed. Pretty much everything that happened in season 6 goes to show that Buffy and the Gang needed his guidance. Giles's influence didn't just stop at Buffy, he was like a father to all of them and he just left!

I don't think he thought he was like a father to them, it was only Buffy he felt that way toward. I think Willow and Xander both needed a father, poor pups, but I don't think Giles felt that way about them, and he wasn't entitled to.

I have made a video about Giles leaving, and how it had affected Buffy, Xander and Willow negatively. Standing, same song in Once More With Feeling. 🙂

I think he did realise it evntually, especially when he went all Dumbledore with Willow, but it back fired on him. He pushed Buffy to b independent and then when he came back in S7 he didn't like that she didn't need him.

>>>>going to watch the vid now>>>>>>
