Good & Evil Ranking

At first you don't succeed, try try again. (I did this thread before here and didn't get many replies. Or any. I forget)

Basically, everyone has their own ideas of right and wrong. This topic is just your subjective opinion on where a character from Buffy or Angel would rank in a sort of good an evil scale.

Now there are two kinds.

The Good Scale 1 to 10. 1 being they are barely any kind of heroic and 10 being they are absolutely good and benign.
Example: I think Tara Maclay is a 9 because she demonstrated nothing but love and compassion for everyone. She had some human weaknesses so she's not a 10 but she was still very pure-hearted.

The Bad Scale -1 to -10
This exists because there are all kinds of evil. Some types are less malignant than others. For instance, one could say Jasmine was evil but would you really put her on the same level as say, Angelus?

So, that's my idea for this topic. I just really enjoy reading a variety of opinions on the morals of Buffyverse characters.

I think it's an interesting idea but don't really have the time to do it right now. Or maybe I'm just lazy or thinking too much. Maybe with this bump you get some answers.

I'll just say that if Tara get a 9 on the good scale I don't see anyone getting 10. Someone prove me wrong.

Well as I said in the rep it's al fine for me.

And honestly, I want to give Tara a 10. She is positively a saint (especially compared to everyone else around her). But I've done this before elsewhere in ye old days and nobody gave Tara a 10. Everyone agreed on 9 so I just went with it.

It would help if you had some sort of starter list maybe? You could name which characters you were particularly interested in and people are free to add their own. The idea of having to think of them all and list them is a bit daunting for us lazies.

I suppose that's a fair point.

Well then for the main heroes:
Buffy Summers: 6. Earlier on she was really very heroic. Selfish in a teenager way but still, she did her best to help people and trust them. She loses a few points because of later seasons actions where she is really arrogant and resentful.

Angel: 5. I can't blame him for all that he did because he had good intentions but he did some reprehensible things. The lawyer massacre is not one of them as far as I'm concerned. His actions in Season 5 though do bring him down to this level. He just has a lot of bitterness in him and I can't blame him really.

Wesley: Goes from a 7 or so and plummets right down to a 2 at most. Very wimpy and too stuffy at first but still nice. By Season 4 and later Season 5 though he's pretty much given up on doing the right thing for he right reasons. He does the right thing in that he isn't going around killing people at random or whatever but he's still just too cold and spiteful in my opinion.

For Villains...

The First Evil: -10. This one is a no-brainer really. It's the source of all evil in the universe.

Mayor Wilkins: -5. I think he loved Faith and he probably loved his wife too. However he literally sold his soul and was ready to kill how many thousands of people just so he could ascend.

Holtz: -7. I sympathize with what he went through and all but a quest for revenge where you hurt people who did nothing to you is nothing more than murder and torture. What he did to Connor was really unforgivable, showing he preferred to torture Angel rather than love the child he had raised and who pretty much worshiped him.

Is that good so far?
