Your name and and planescape love has me thinking of I guy I saw around a morrowind forum once. probably just coincidence as i'm meeting people who remind me of people all the time.

Relic, as time goes on, I've increasingly become a retro gamer. They just don't make 'em like they used to, for the most part. The most recent game I've played that I actually really "dug" was Vampire: Bloodlines (fantastic game for Buffy/Gothic horror fans, fyi!). Nothing in the past five years or so has, IMHO, surpassed Baldur's Gate II, Planescape: Torment, StarCraft, et al. (I do, however, hold out high hopes for Fallout 3 once I upgrade my system or get an X360. 😉)
I can say proudly that I got my wife into the Whedonverse generally. She was initially quite skeptical, but I made her stick through it and the rest is history. 🙂

Fall out 3 is suppose to be good. I dig retro games myself hence the morrowind love. Anymore I'm pretty much a twitch gamer, alot of virtual console on the wii w/ old platformers

I wouldn't say underrated because everyone who's played it seems to love it. Definitely underplayed though! No other game has the kind of story or characters Torment does.
I liked Fallout 3 quite a bit but if you're expecting a plot or conversations comparable to BG or PS:t, you'll be disappointed. The world they've created is very immersive but it's pretty much Oblivion with guns and better story/dialogue. Which isn't too bad!
