I don't know if this will be as fun, but there are two music covers that I think are brilliant.

First is Kermit the Frog covering the great Elliott Smith. Elliott Smith is one of my favorites. He was a troubled soul, and this is a song about his heroin addiction. Please note this song is not appropriate for your 2 year olds. Kermit follows the script of the original video from the movie, The Royal Tannebaums. There is no swearing or sex, but it is very dark.

The second is a Led Zeppelin cover. The four musician live in different parts of the world, and played their parts and made a video without ever meeting. It's pretty amazing, and they are great musicians.

I love Placebo's cover of Kate Bush's 'Running up that Hill':

Both the original and cover are amazing. Some songs just speak for themselves.

I like the Glee version. Also gotta remember this isn't some studio version that Hanson did. So the hanson version isn't too bad for what it is.😀 I just don't know if you can really compare Hanson's version to Glee's. Like if it's fair to. I'd kinda think counting Glee's could be cheating a little.

hanson covering Radiohead's "Optimistic" I believe this one was put on their (Hanson) live album.

Thanks. I've been a clost Hanson fan since my niece fell for them when she was like 8 or 9.

I think I slightly prefer the original version, though it was only via Glee that I ever found out about the original version 😀

The song is originally written by the band UFO which had a huge influence on Iron Maiden.
By the way the cover is not sung by the singer you see on the pictures. It's sung by Blaze Bailey who was in Iron Maiden from 1994 to 1999.
The man on the pictures is Bruce Dickinson who was in the band from '81 to '93 and rejoined in 1999.

This is my friend Gareth, who I met at university. Obviously it's not as good as the original, but I think it's definitely interesting, and he has a great voice.

An amazing cover of a great New Order song

PLUS... I am pretty sure the lead singer was on Buffy at the Bronze with her later band. I haven't googled it, but there is a singer who looks just like her.

It is. I like Glee's version and I like Hanson's version EQUALLY. But I wouldn't compare Glee's version vs Hanson's. I like the song a lot too.🙂
