Goodbye, Nurse Chapel

This is indeed sad. I didn't think I would know her, but then I read the article, and I realized I did see her as Deanna Troi's mother, and of course, heard her as the bord computer on voice.

A very sad day for the franchise, shes been a part of the Star Trek mythos since its first pilot in 1964.

It was announced recently she would be doing the computer voice in the new movie, since Abrams has stated the film is sealed away and completed now she may already have completed her voice work for it.

She completed the work as the voice of the computer 5 days prior to her untimely death... very sad news indeed.

Talk about cutting it close! She will, no doubt, be missed.
Oh this is very very sad news.
I first knew of her as many (not all) as the delicious Lwaxana Troi, posing that biggest of unanswered questions in the whole of Star Trek.

Was Deanna Troi adopted?

Aww, man. 🙁 Pretty much ruins my evening hearing this.

Well, at least she can fly together with the Great Bird of the Galaxy once again now.

That's sad news...she must have been featured in more incarnations of Trek than any other actor.
