This is awesome.. for April Fools Day, Google is turning their maps into a Pac-Man game

Just pull up any google map location and at the bottom of the screen where you can alternative to Earth view, they now have a Pac-Man view. It's pretty cool idea.

I will get someone for April Fool's today. I usually get at least one person every year. Although with social media around it is harder to do.

I don't really care for April fools, mostly because pranks can be done whenever you want.
If that's the case, then why make a special day for them in the first place ?

Exactly. That's the whole idea of a prank. It's supposed to be unexpected.

I think its like an anniversary thing.
To honour the first ever prankster who fell victim when his practical joke spectacularly backfired. Something to do with a whoopee cushion and an alpaca...

Sidenote: Practical jokes are very rarely practical. 🙂

It also means a little more to a prankster, they derive greater satisfaction, from successfully 'fooling' someone on the one day of the year the victim should be wise to it.

Google does some fun stuff from time to time.

Their 8 bit version of Google Maps they did some years ago was also very cool.
