A thread for anyone who forgets to eat, or needs to switch intake. Share ideas and keep each other motivated in terrible tummy times.

I have some nectarines, peaches and plums now frozen in the fridge... what fruits are in your part of the world today?

I have been trying to simplify my meals. Going by the advertisements to try and fit 2 fruits and 5 veg. Lately its more like 3 fruit and 4 veg... but better than I was eating last year! The buns are fantastic animals to help fresh eating. I always have to have greens for their dinner, so there is usually salad mix, kale, celery and carrots around. Plus herbs in the garden. I doubt I would get as many greens without them. And they are so cute to share with!

Does chocolate count as a fruit or a vegetable?

Yes of course it does, if it is Broccoli flavoured, if not try Orange honeycomb flavour. If you can't find it make your own.
SO I am a bit surprised. I know I am insulin resistant at times and I felt it was one of those times because of all the cortisol mornings this year. But last night I had a terrible dinner. Processed cheats chicken on a white bread roll with cheese, tomato sauce and token lettuce. Followed by a few dark chocolate buttons and a caramel milk. I did not have to get up at all to pee in the night! On nights I have eaten "well" I am up and up and up which is a sign of prediabetes (according to my doctors in 2015). The meal I had last night was truly terrible in all ways and I slept like a log (my dream world was extremely active though). I still woke up a little anxious this morning but well after dawn which was lovely.

Breaky was a isowhey drink (I better stock up on more of this before they hike the price up!). Morning snack was a nectarine. My peaches are all frozen to death but I still have plums.

My favourite desert right now is greek yogurt with berries. I learned that from a diabetic friend - so yum!

I have never been fussy with water. Week before last I stopped filtering my water again because it was such a hassle. Now I have gone off water all together. Even when I filter it, I really struggle to drink it. I have never been one to drink too little, its sorta impossible not to drink 2-4L of water in the climate I live in. The last couple weeks I have preferred to drink milk, and have had about a litre a day, which is costly but the water is just so unappealing. I hope my body doesn't start rejecting it since I have so much dairy. But I am also wondering if my body is seeking the diary for a reason. Animals seek out what they need in their diet, it is believed that humans have lost the ability to know what they need but I am sorta challenging that. I see so much online about the dangers of cow tit juice that it does concern me with how much I consume, but I wouldn't be concerned at all if I wasn't made aware of the 'danger' from news stories.

My dad does the fasting for his heart, and I think a fast every now and then is good, but if I get out of the habit of eating, I forget to get back into it.

My diet consists of three-four bowls of cereal in the morning, an orange for lunch because the rest of the school food is gross, a handful of cheeze-its/pretzels + an apple when I get home, and whatever my mom serves for dinner

I need to find something to shake it up something, starfruit is a good thing to shake it up. We usually get one for me and my sister every two or three weeks.
