Hi all,

I was wondering if would be okay for me to post a series of questions for you guys to answer on the 'Inside Out ' board?
I am in graduate school and in the midst of doing a class research project on BtVS as a fan phenomenon, specifically placing it the site of '10 years post airing'.

the questions would be:
Why did you begin watching BtVS?
When did you being watching it?
What makes the show for you?
It's been 10 years since the last episode aired, how do you think the show has changed (to you and to society)?

Any answers will be used for this research project only and they will help me discuss why BtVS resonated with fans so much, what is it about this show in particular. Only usernames will be used if i refer to them specifically and the only authority who will see the final project will be my professor.
I picked BtVS as a topic because of how much it carries weight with me, the show was a big part of my life growing up and it just makes sense to look at it - especially when it has been a decade since it has aired.

Thanks

sounds interesting
As has happened in the past, new people post this type of thing without making sure the people running this site know what you are doing. I take it that you have spoken to Buffy Summers haven't you?

Of course she hasn't because nobody knows that that's "the done thing"
Hey there! I'm more than willing to help and answer some questions! Like ILLYRIAN said just make sure you ask Buffy Summers about it! Once that's cleared up I'm sure you'll get a good amount of people willing to answer questions.

fredthe3rd,
about your comment that nobody knows 'that is the done thing'
while that is true, when someone comes to the site and asks members questions for a project it is polite to ask that question.
What I said was to ask her to contact Buffy Summers, the haven't you at the end of the sentence left the door open for fiveby5 to say yes because I didn't and don't know if the question was asked.

She asks at the top of her post, she's polite, she's doing research for college or university or other such institution.

It's a happy and wonderful thing, I don't see the need to get on her back.

Guys, let's calm down here.

As I said in my pm - it's fine, please just let people know how their personal information will be used (as in how they will be identified in your paper etc.)
