Great BB memories

Ok so a few of us were just in the chat box saying how long we've been here for a lot of us its been since almost the beginning and for others we've just arrived.... but the reality of it is each of us have shared in great memories that will stay with us forever here at BB we've laughed, we've cried, we've aruged and we've banned but we still hold strong

Through good friends, new friends and even those who are gone but not forgotten

What are some of your best memories or even worst memories of Buffy-Boards over the time you've spent here....?

We still dont really know i was deleted too lol Some say we got hacked and others say who knows Buffy Summers used it as an april fools joke that year saying she got mad at us and decided to delete alot of us ....

They do alot of april fools jokes around here BORK

and of course lets not forget Backwards day and when Faith and Buffy came up with their april fools joke about being really upset with eachother and Faith was like going to get banned

I remember going back and reading that!!! lol! I didn't know it was an April Fools Joke when I read it though and I was like.. OMG! What the hell happened cause Faith was sooo nice and I didn't get why they were fighting lol! And then I read that it was an April Fools thing. lol

There was a problem with the board's server and there was data loss, so user accounts were lost. Needless to say, we don't use that host anymore 😉

Yeah, I remember getting deleted. It was awful!!!!!!!!!!! And having to be without the boards for a while (I think it was like a week or maybe more). That was terrible, because we couldn't all enjoy everyone and post on the boards. And then reading that I was deleted because BS was terribly mad at a lot of us threw me for a loop until I realized that it was an April Fool's Joke!!!! It was funny. 🙂

Mines was when I got sorted into Merrick! I got to know everybody better.

And when that Glory obssessed person gave us all bad karma for everything we said that was negative about GLory!!! LOL ((cant remember the name but i kno Ab, VG, and Lyri remember))

ANd me first arguing with AL((Bored of the Dead)) then we became friends! =) lol

I was one of the lucky few that account wasnt deleted. But my karma got slashed down to size!!!!!!!! lol

My little Bangel vs. Spuffy war with WA! my favourite Spuffy of all🙂

Oh and getting newbie of the month was a very pleasant surprise😀

OMG I'll never forget this! Cause it was such a good april fools joke, and I was a newbie and I was like "whaaaat the hell is this?" and I was gonna run the other way and never come back. I remember Faith getting banned and coming back with another username. Maan... That was fun.

I remember the Corma days. And the time the entire board got spammed by some freak. And that thread that asked which members on the board you like the best and I was all sad and upset cause I thought it was mean and also because no one but Epo had chosen me...

I remember when i first started Roleplaying i was playing Willow in the Buffy RPG and Darla in the Angel..... Thats when i met my good friend Allycat lol he helped me so much cause i had no earthly idea what to do and he created great energy as Drusilla for me to play off of

I remember when we didn't have the houses.... lol

I also remember how great it was to have a brand new episode of Buffy to rush on to the boards after seeing so we could all get our input in lol

I remember when Andy was around till EBD started to take control over the computer 😛 jp 😉

How about the first Annual Buffies!? and VG's awesome red carpet hosting lol....

my goodness i have so many memories of this place and so many of these people have been there since the beginning of when i arrived and honestly this place wouldn't be the same without them

this years Buffies was awesome too...everyone went kinda nuts with their award speeches! lol, remember how many awards EBD won? that woman just rocks and deserves every single one of them!

When I got sorted into Merrick. I'm really thankful to be there because I was able to meet a lot of great people.

When I was given the offer to be a mod. I was thinking "Me?? Are you sure you have the right person?" LOL

That little thing with Hellgods. To this day, I've never been involved in an argument that big. It's a shame he had to get banned over I comment I made about Glory having a lopsided ass.

I remember playing Connor in the RPG. It was my first time RPG'ing so I didn't even know how to do it. But eventually I got the hang of it.

The "Why is Charmed Better Than BtVS" thread. That was a mess in itself.

The April Fool's Joke when Buffy said she deleted everyone out of anger. That was hilarious! LMFAO!

Drogyn's open house. That was fun. We got to see how another house operates.

The Battle of The Shippers, Cat, Dog, Monkey, and The Prom in Merrick. We always keep busy don't we? LOL

The Buffy Awards are always awesome.

The Dorm Wars. "Merrick Rules!" "No Drogyn is the best!" "Vahla Ha'Nesh is Allah!" We had good times, good times.

I had no idea at the time but getting sorted was definitely one of the best things. That's all I'm saying on that subject. 😉

I already gave Kean karma (alliteration alert) (<--- I did not mean to do that hehe) so she knows I like to talk to her. I love all my adoptees because they're awesome. Even the ones that don't talk to me... *cough*MissKittyFantasticoandkyles83*cough* TR is a good friend, as well. I love my Merrick family...y'all rock! 😀

I also enjoy how I've grown to hate the relationship of Spuffy. I mean that it's cool that I found out how much argument takes place over Bangel and Spuffy...It's fun to be a part of one side and constantly have a rival. Another thing I like is how I remember being so bummed not being able to talk about new episodes of Buffy...and then season 8 came out!

This is just such a good board and has so many wonderful people...I like to think of BtVS and BB as one thing. Like BB should be the official website. Someone get on that with Joss. 😉

Drogyn's open house. That was fun. We got to see how another house operates.

I remember the Drogyn open house. Somebody stole our beer fridge, and don't think we've forgotten. As soon as we find out who it was, we're planning a raid.

Oh, and something I sometimes wonder about. We gave one of the houses a monkey for a mascot. Did you keep it, or did you take it back to your house, and have a monkey sacrifice, or something?

Just kidding. Actually I was surprised with that one how good natured everybody was, even with all the "our house is better" jibes. We'd have another one, but we're still cleaning up after the last one. :cheering:
