I have some great ideas for this website.There should be a Writers awards, such as the best fanfic writer.As a writer, I post many of my stories on the Fanfic forum.I think that we should have a writers award.The categories can be like best writer, most creative, etc,..
 
The staff of Buffy Boards is always coming up with new ideas..if you have anything you would like to see in the forum, please PM a member of the staff your idea.
 
I think it would be a good idea. There are a lot of really good writers here and I think they should be recognized for there work. I enjoy Reading all for you guys work and I think that would be cool for these writers to get awards.
 
I don't really think I need to send my idea to a staff member.I'm sure a staff member will see this thread, sooner or later.

The award you suggest exists. It was last given to Old Master. I believe Hero (Parker Summers) and Angelic have also won.

The awards were originally designed to be circuitous, meaning the fanfic award would come around again, however such things are constantly being re-arranged.

You would know all this if you had PMed the staff member in charge of awards: Mr Pointy. You should know Mr. Pointy is in charge of awards here at Buffy-boards, because the information appears on a thread you are presently posting on in your assigned House.

Seriously, if you have an idea concerning awards wouldn't it make sense to get information on the subject from the person responsible for them?

If you have a suggestion concerning Buffy-boards Awards, I've heard Mr Pointy request them. I believe his request went something like, "PM me with any suggestions you might have concerning awards".

You would know all this if you had clicked on the search button at the top of the page and typed in "A-w-a-r-d-s". Something I've also heard repeatedly suggested.

A little harsh don't you think?

Remember the girl is 12. And not to mention that she hasn't been here long. And hell, I didn't know Mr. Pointy was incharge of awards.

Though ideas should be discussed with a moderator -- unless it concerns public opinion?
 
Yeah. You're right. My apologies.

I should point out this thread was originally posted in the wrong forum, I've previously told him who's in charge of board awards, the response to the mod who tried to straighten it out appeared confrontational, and I was feeling cranky.

No worries. Xx is my little Drogyn house buddy. I've decided to take him under my wing and help him adjust.

But I totally see where you were coming from about the whole confrontational thing.
