Just For Bored Of The Dead!

I would like to devote this post SOLEY to BORED OF THE DEAD!

I went over some of my old posts the other day and I have to give you a lot more credit than you've gotten.
1.) You're one of the first people who likes to jump in and tell me that I'm wrong. Which is fun. I can't say I agree with you, but if I did...it wouldn't be any fun to debate. It's one of the reasons I love this board, because I can disagree but have a BLAST doing it. (Thankfully, you've toned it down from that post you referred me to.)
2.) I also realized that 99.9% of the time, YOU'RE the one that has me going back and reviewing episodes. You have a habit of saying things happened that leave me thinking you're utterly NUTS or that you got "deleted scenes" that I never got to watch. It always has me missing whatever I WAS watching and popping in DVDs. Usually to still sit there and say, "I KNEW HE WAS NUTS!" and then to think about how funny it is that things they left "open to interpretation" can actually be taken so differently.
Plus, it adds to later debates with my husband asking him what HE thinks about this episode or that one to see if he sees it like you do. (So, see? Aiding in my wedded bliss...QUITE a feat from an ocean away!)

And I ALWAYS love the Avatars! Since we have such different points of view (not opposite, just different) the Lilah pictures always amuse me. Lilah isn't EVIL just different. So misunderstood while she tries SO HARD and when she's trying to be the most unlovable....she turns out to be almost endearing.

You certainly make MY time here enjoyable! EVERYONE GIVE THREE CHEERS FOR BORED OF THE DEAD!

Have I mentioned that I love doing this?

Anyway, today I'd like to thank my adopted Buffy Boards mama, Slayergal. Because she adopted me, she was one of the first people I started to get to know here on the boards. At first, I only PMed her about BB-related questions (for example, "What does BB mean?" lol.). She was so helpful and nice that we started PMing about other things, too. As fate would have it, we were sorted into the same house and we even ended up on the same team in the RPG together. Interacting with Slayergal, then, has become part of my daily routine, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Slayergal always has something nice to say. She's always willing to answer a question or shoot the breeze or just let you vent. She's just a delight. Maybe that's why she takes in so many bad eggs and turns us into Buffy-Boarding... chickens? That doesn't sound right. But you get the point. Posting, RPGing, and PMing with Slayergal always makes me smile. She's the best Buffy Boards adopter a girl could have!

So here's to you, adopted mama! You rock!

hun, we pretty much just discovered eachother but since then I've had the best time!🙂 I thought I was the only "younger one" here on the board but when I found you I was so happy! I am NOT alone! We have THE BEST msn convos and i think we have a lot in common, except for the obvious disagreements with spuffy vs. bangel....but that makes it all the more enjoyable!😀 You've made my buffy-boards experience even better!! Thanks for that Vicky!😀😀😀

Bangelxx Well, I always figuired that I was the youngest here, I was okay with that, though it got a little annoying at times, feeling like there would always be things I wouldn't understand and stuff. Then, I was just browsing the boards, when I stopped and I realised you were only 13, and I'm so glad I did, 'cause ever since we started talking...Well, you're amazing friend. I already feel like I've known you for years, 'cause we get on so well. And I'm so glad to be friends with you...Even if you are a fan of -Shudders- Bangel. But I can work past that 😛 Love Ya Emma x
