"Green Lantern" - Possible David Boreanaz film project?!

Folks;
A little bird at Warner Bros. told me that DB was in consideration for the lead role in a developing motion picture. Going the super-hero route (ala "X-Men", Tobey MacGuire's "Spider-Man" or Ben Affleck's upcoming "DareDevil"), he may be considering the title role in an adaptation of GREEN LANTERN.

Green Lantern is admittedly a "B-List" DC Comics superhero, but it's a compelling story. A daring test pilot selected by aliens to carry one of the Universe's most powerful weapons and dispense justice on a truly grand scale.

Warner Bros (who own both DC Comics and Angel's network) is looking to bring out a big-screen treatment of the character, and DB does seem physically right for the role and used to the hero persona.

Here's a shot of the comics' Green Lantern... what do you think? (Please keep in mind that the costume would likely be restyled to a body armor-look by the time the movie would film)

The thought of David wearing that makes me chuckle (like when he had to wear the pink helmet in Angel!) but you're right, it would be a more modern costume 😉 all tight & s*xy!

David would be a fab super hero & he does seem to have the right build for it. I'm quite excited at the prospect now🙂

Not exactly a big fan of comics(im clueless when it comes to them!), but if its for DB, why not? Id like to see him in a movie, I would mind seeing him in Green Lantern..Just gonna have to bear with the costume lol.

My guess is they'll go the Batman/X-Men route and outfitted with a combo body armor/spacesuit (since GL travels in outer space).... not a trace of spandex!

It would be cool to see David in more movies nowadays 'cause he is hardly in any really but I think he should go for this movie!

Yeah, you'reright on that one ... and if I look at the picture of this "Green Lantern" it looks like David would be perfect!
