Greenwalt Does A Runner!!!

This is terrible news! 🙁 😡 I can't believe he is leaving. I only know the first part of what Joss Whedon has said:
"This is a good step for him,"
 
I belive it is a big loss - hes been invloved so long with buffy and angel, he must have been damn good!

As long as its not joss . . . for the moment anyway, hes here 😀
 
Yes, David is leaving which is actually pretty sad, he co-created Angel and wrote great episodes. The creaotr of the short lived FOX sci-fi show Freakylinks will be taking his place and I don't know if he even knows the character's names. David Fury and Steve DeKnight (writers from Buffy) are also gonig to be helpnig out with Angel. So things should be ok. Greenwalt will probably come back though once "Miracles" is cancelled (A show about religion....with Skeet Ulrich.....on FOX. Yeah' that will last. That is almost as bad as the concept of a vampire having a soul, heh heh.)

That is certainly a shame about Greenwalt, though I'm sad to see him go, I do wish him well with his new venture.

As for Joss Whedon, isn't he technically just a figure head on the shows anymore anyway? He's been very hands off of late hasn't he? Mostly putting Marti Noxon in charge of operations?
 
Thats to bad about Greenwalt leaving but atleast he will be around some helping out. But I can understand him wanting to leave also he needs to get away from Buffy and Angel alittle bit then maybe he can get better ideas and stuff.
I'm sure that the people that take his place will do a fine job.
 
Hes a big part of angel, I hope the show can continue to be as fab even without one of the creators! Good luck to him anyway but his talents will be missed.
