Found a couple of Buffy-related forums recently, joined them, and now I find here.
My reason for joining is the same here as it was there - to finally dive into the online fandom at large, something I missed out on when these series were actually on the air.
I remain loyal to the Whedonverse definition of a vampire, meaning badass 'game faces' and they don't "sparkle". At the same time, I do have a soft spot for vampires that enjoy a certain beverage with the initials T.B.
I'm a fan of most things Whedon....I have no real love for anything with the words "doll" or "house" in the title.
"ANGEL" was, is and will always remain my all-time favorite series, but I really don't care much about this better-than/less-than comparison fans seem to love doing for it and "Buffy". I really see both series as being fundamentally different and I love each for different reasons.
my username is nothing more than my initials combined with an obscure reference to my favorite "Star Trek" series, "Deep Space Nine". Betcha can't guess what it is...not that it matters.
Anyway, I look forward to reading...though I don't know a thing about the comic follow-ups of either series so I'll remain in the dark for those.

Seems silly to have some kind of messageboard rivalry but whatever... Just looking to read, write and maybe even make some friends. Obviously online ones but you get the idea.
