I'm so happy to have found this place. I'm a huge Buffy/Angel fan.

I'm a 24 year old female, who is studying with the intention of becoming a forensic toxicologist.

Angel is my favourite show, though Buffy follows closely behind.

Angel has Spike and Lorne, and Buffy just has Spike so Angel wins out for me.

I'm a major fan of Lorne and Andy Hallett. So at the moment I feel like I've lost a friend though unfortunately I never had the opportunity to meet the larger than life Andy, but I'm hoping to gain a few friends here.

Spike is my second favourite character with either Fred(Pre Ilyria) or Giles being my third.

I haven't yet watched Firefly or Doll's House but once I've watched my Angel and Buffy dvds from season 1 through to the final seasons I'm planning on giving both shows a try.

But seriously though, welcome to the boards. I'm sure you'll find many a new friend here who will slowly but steadily fill the void Andy left in you (and all of us.) I hope you will have a great time here, and to see you posting lots!

Also, forensic toxicology. Sounds like a hell of a job! Please feel free to tell me more about it 🙂

It could be worse, at least I'm a Glaswegian and not from the wrong side of Scotland like those from the city that shall not be named. :wink:

Paperdoll, it's a fascinating field. It's the study and detection of toxins/poisons and their effect on the body.

It covers many aspects of science from pharmacology to biochemistry.
As a forensic toxicologist you could be detecting traces of drugs on any material or tool, to testing if drugs were a cause of death, to testing for food contamination or investigating a poisoning. That's less common now but it certainly still happens as the murder of Alexander Litvinenko in 2006 using Polonium 210, a radioactive element proved.

I would be thinking of Edinburgh. :evilgrin2

I don't really do sports at all, unless falconry, which I love counts.
